Too bad, in relation to my posts about getting a picture of me soon (maybe), I want to upload a video of me, but I have no idea how to do that.
Here's the thing: I danced, it got recorded, the recording got put on a DVD, DVD is in my computer as I type this, problem: I don't know how to take my dancing out of the DVD and put it on Youtube or some other video uploading place, note there is a lot of other people dancing on this DVD, and I just want to take only my part and upload it, so you will laugh at only me and not the other people.
If someone would be so kind and tell me almost exactly how to do this, I will upload it.
I will admit, I honestly think I suck horribly, but a lot of people said I did great. Besides my own, I got no negative response. This is probably because the people want to be nice because I don't dance in front of a lot of people that often.
1. Google, download, install, and use a program for ripping dvd video. If it wants you to select formats, use Xvid and AVI
2. Google, download, install, and use Avidemux to delete most of the video frame
3. Save and upload on youtube
or you can just play the video on your computer and screenshot it when you're shown >_>

I actually want to put the video up and have brutally honest responses on how I did rather than show you a pic.
When watching myself dance, I might have been looking at me, rather than the dancing, and I never had a high opinion of myself, so I want honest responses from people that don't mind (trying to) hurting my feelings.

Um, if possible, can you be a hell of a lot more specific? I literally have no idea how to do this.
I googled those XVid and AVI, but the pages they took me to didn't really tell me what to do.
Well happy triple post, I guess none of you care enough to help, ah well, I barely care, I just wanted more opinions.

Download that, rip DVD.
Use AVI for the file format.
Then you can just open it in something like Windows Movie Maker and get rid of the unwanted parts.

Finally, thanks, less words but more understandable. (I think)
I'll try this when I get back from dance tonight. It says I'm missing a Codec or something... Help again....?
