So, I got a Nintendo 64 for my 6th birthday (1999) along with various games including SSB, Bomberman 64, Banjo, and Mario Party.
What epic gifts did you get as a kid?
I got my first video game system when I was 7.
I got a Super Nintendo!!!
And Super Mario RPG, which I jizzed over.
lemme see.
I got a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, a PlayStation (well, my dad did anyway), and a Dreamcast.
For one of my birthdays I got a Gameboy Color with Pokemon Silver & Turok 2
My first consoles were an NES and SNES, however my mom sold them before we moved. My dad however for a PS1 in 1999 because I badly wanted an N64. Back then I was the only one who noticed the difference, but I enjoyed it anyways
...until my nes and snes broke. I never got any other console until like 3rd grade when I got an N64 and a gamecube months later.
still miss my nes and snes. I need to eventually go out and get them. I actually still have that huge dance pad for the NES.

Speaking of nostalgia. My first Gameboy Advance game was Iridion 3D, which is pretty much the best looking Gameboy game ever made, like a PS1 game, except without the frightened polygons. So after that I was pretty spoiled about graphics for GBA games.
My brother got a Playstation when I was 3, in 1994. He gave me his NES and SNES and all of the games he had. He had pretty much every game worth a crap on both systems AND Mega Man Soccer. Which sucked.
SNES, Nintendo 64 (Which included Diddy Kong racing and Mario 64. :))
good times...
