Post by: The Riddler on February 24, 2010, 05:32:29 AM
Just out of curiosity, of these heteronyms (words with same spelling but different meaning and sometimes different pronunciation), which meaning, or which pronunciation do you think of first when you read the word?

List of words I want you to think of:
*Bass

*Close
*Dove
*Lead
*Moderate
*Object
*Polish
*Resume
*Tear

Here's the same list, with each pronunciation and meaning. Which did you think of?
