OH MY GOD! *nerdgasm*
WANT!
I hope everything goes well. The cinemas look top-notch, and the presentation is astonishing. I'm so going to pre-order it for June 27th (the official release date for America). :)
Not the baby metroid! What a sad scream.

It was so young...:(
It hadn't even started killing on instinct yet...
.............. FUCKING AWESOME!
I've never been able to really get into Metroid though, I still have one game, once I got stuck I stopped, I figured out what to do (my cousin has the game as well, I played at his house and we figured out what to do next), yet I still haven't gotten in the mood to play it... I think it's been years.
Also, has Samus always been able to talk? I never knew any main Nintendo character ever would (except Fox and maybe a few others).
...
I actually felt like I was watching a trailer for an epic movie.
This is way too awesome. Never thought I would see the Mother Brain fight in this.
why is it that these camera guys can never intercourse ing learn to hold the camera correctly? If you're not going to do it right don't do it at all.
ANYWAY, that was very impressive on the graphical and presentation front. See Nintendo? Rendered cutscenes and voice acting are GOOD things! Maybe you should, oh I don't know....USE THEM!?
Can't wait for this game, something finally delivers something NEW instead of rehashing the last three games in the series
Nayr, there hasn't been an Metroid game since Zero Mission Fusion. How could they rehash anything?

Did you forget the Prime series... ya know the one that's been the past four games or so (including Hunters)? It was essentially the same game three times, but somehow only getting progressively worse...

Hey man, you know this thing called sarcasm? I'm certain you're familiar with it.
That wasn't sarcasm. That was a failure at getting your "point" across.

that's why you need sarcasm tags...
Of course they made Samus have to say really stupid things.
"... the baby."
"Mother, it's time to die."
Ugh. At least her voice is good.
GUYS GUYS GUYS
GAMESRADAR HAD A HANDS ON WITH THE DEMO

Both videos have been removed. >_>
Good thing the Nintendo Channel has a brand new video, though.
I'm cautions when I found out how the control scheme is going to be, as are most people on the Other M board in GameFAQS, but I'm curious... how do you think it will turn out?

Well the bulk of the game uses the Wiimote on its side. So I guess it'll play like the first Metroid on the NES until you point the Wiimote at the screen.
I have few worries about this game
