Title: Computer on the fritz again
Post by: Rayquarian on March 04, 2010, 07:37:52 PM
I'm starting to think that Vista has some built-in obsolescence, because this is the fourth time that my computer has started randomly crashing and acting very weird.  I'm currently in safe mode; if I try to do anything in a normal session, the computer will freeze up in about 5-10 minutes.  One time, I received an error message about how the "login process has failed to create the security options dialog."  I  disabled AVG, but nothing changed.

I'm trying to avoid a clean wipe, because I don't feel like having to lose my songs again (for some weird reason, even if I back up Noteworthy Composer files, they always disappear when I try to reaccess them).  Does anyone know what's going on?

Thats stinks. I'm moving from vista to Windows 7 soon anyways.

Vista uses like over 50% of the physical memory while Windows seven uses only 10% or less just to run basic systems

Hey all you 25 guests! Why don't you join the forum since you spend like hours of time on it anonymous?

Recently or a while ago? :U
You could always backup your important files and get Windows 7 or something.

AVG

Switch to Microsoft Security Essentials.  It's free as long as your Windows copy is legit.
