I know, mods are NOFUN, but this has been going on for too long. Users are impersonating other users, both in IRC and on the forums, and it's causing problems. From here on out, anyone impersonating another user on the forums will have their name forcefully changed. If they impersonate a mod, they're temporarily banned and their name will be changed. If I have to, I'll revoke the ability to change your own names due to abuse. As for IRC, a recent problem has been the ghosting of users by registering their names. If this keeps happening, I'll get an IRCop to g-line the offending user. I'm tired of people whining to me about this. It's got to stop.

I'd like to add that there is a field new users must fill in called AKA. It appears to the bottom left of your posts (under your avatar).
All users found to be changing their names regularly will have this field activated. It's not a punishment, it's just for our Sanity.
With that said, I'd like to point out that it is ONLY editable by administrators. It's also ugly atm, and will get a graphical update when Syn and I figure it out.
Another thing is going to be added to the list of things that need to stop.
You little intercourse s are going to cease with trying to troll the poop out of each other. In the past months, that's what every little bit of drama on this site has revolved around. And it ends now. I am tired of it. I imagine the staff is tired of it. And the users seem quite tired of the drama it causes.
If any of you feel the need to continue to troll on NSFCD, I will make posting here a living hell for you. I promise you this. This is not a ruling from the staff. This is a personal promise from me to the community. Now shape up and do remember this warning for the future.
