Title: Brawl 2nd Anniversary
Post by: DededeCloneChris on March 10, 2010, 01:06:34 AM
It's been 2 years ever since Brawl came out. Today, it still stands as one of the best games on the Wii.

So, why not recall some nice experiences with the game (no competitive stuff allowed)? Discuss. :)

I have The most fun with Brawl when I go Online (LAG FREE) and I'm Pit and we play on the Mario Bros. Stage.

I have soooo many vid's of the stupid things people do in there, and how they try to "Beat" me, and how they fail ever so miserably.

That's about it, honestly.

Best memory of playing Brawl was this hilarious Sudden Death battle.

I was playing against my friend and he happen to get hit by a bomb -omb.

I luckily hit him before he went hurtling at me.

Double fail on his part.  :D

Best memory of Brawl:
Proving to some basic tourney (not high level, but basic tourney) players that Sonic doesn't suck.

Still no where near as good as Melee tho. Tripping, terrible online, terrible balance, etc.

Your suppose to say Good things about Brawl, not the obviously horrific, moronic, lack of good characters brawl has.  >:(

I remember friends and I racing to unlock more characters and stages than each other when it first came out. Good times.

VS. mode. 1-stock. Two controllers. 2p suicides.
Got all the characters and stages in about 2 hours of grinding. Woopee.

No using any Golden Hammers in the Challenges.

I have a nice collection of them. ^_^ (F*** YOU, INTENSE TABUU!)

More like intercourse  you intense Galleom and Duon.
Tabuu is a walk in the park once you've figured out how to dodge his attacks. Duon and Galleon are just too darn big to avoid effectively.

Oh, one of my best moments is also having every character in Single Player cleared in Intense. (I admit I used some continues with some).

However, maybe I'll try passing All-Star Mode in Intense later... (I'm so dead).

2 hours of your life you'll never get back.

Unfortunately I can't talk really. I actually played through the story mode to unlock everyone, which took longer than 2 hours.

I've had a lot of good experiences, but I can't really nostalgia about it as much as Melee. Probably because Brawl's only been out for 2 years.

You forgot Porky. HOW COULD YOU FORGET PORKY?

Porky's ridiculously easy once you know what your doing.
Duon is darn near impossible in the later fights when they get smarter. You have to hope he's early on AND he does the rocket move that you can use to hurt him.

Oh yeah, i can't believe i forgot about this that just happened last month.v(Some of you may know this story already).

Ok, you know that Wolf takes 400 brawl matches to unlock?

Well right when i was battling him, it was the night of the Super Bowl and it was over. My cousin had atleast 12 or more Mountain Dews and he was just hyper jumping into the couch and running around the room. Right when i'm about to beat wolf...Bang. My cousin clears the chair and slams into my Wii, pulverizing it and making the memory all screwed up in it.

It was a very annoying yet funny moment. I still need to unlock Wolf though. :(

When I got Brawl I kind of just sat there and systematically unlocked about 80% of the game in a few days.

I stayed until the midnight release though, wearing shorts even though it was super cold. I almost won the tourney too. :3

Actually yes.

It's just that combat wise If you throw every feature/potato out of the window Melee by far wins in it's depth.

Still great; I just wish so much time wasn't thrown to the story. At least they didn't tact on voice acting to THAT.

Duon is the ONLY reason I beat it on Intence. I was using Lucas, and he was the ONLY boss that would heal me. So YAY!

On that note, Porky and Rayquaza and Metal Ridely were Bitches against Lucas. FFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Oh yeah... beating Intense Boss Battles. :)
