Well, my computer seriously hates Firefox, normally it would freeze when I went to certain pages on Firefox only, now, after an "update" happened, my computer decided to freeze again, so I did what I always do when the computer freezes, I manually turn it off and start over. But NOW, Firefox, I click, double click, triple click, click over 9000 times, nothing (all those had periods of waiting of course), so now I can't open Firefox at all, I am now on Internet Explorer.
Instead of trying to fix this (I actually feel like this specific thing has happened before, but anyway) I have decided to switch browsers, maybe Opera or something. Any suggestions? Prefferably one with auto spell check like Firefox had, I feel nakes naked (SEE, RED LINES HELP WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY HIT A DIFFERENT LETTER) without red lines going under my bad spelling (there's spell check here, but I like to use the spell thingy in other places too)
You play with fire you get burned
You could always try portable firefox
Chrome, definitely. Was using Firefox & now I hate to use it. Whatever that tells you about it.
Firefox > Chrome > Opera > loldon'tbother
get chrome kid
You have viruses/etc.
Switching browsers is just going around the problem until something else gets raped, too.
You might as well just reformat. :U
Also, Chrome would probably be the best choice.
Reformat.

He wouldn't be able to figure that out.
MAKE YOUR COMPUTER FORGET EVERYTHING BY FORCING IT TO EAT A WINDOWS XP DISC
THEN MAKE IT REMEMBER HOW TO XP WITH THE SAME DISC
You guys talk as if I'm a retard.
Now that you get the picture, where does one get this disk that I'm forcing my computer to "eat?" I have loads of disks, too lazy to look at this hour, but I have a feeling I won't know what's what.

Yep. You're better off backing off everything you need to a HD, any paid programs, assignments, etc. You shouldn't have that much, right? Then again, I have like 30 GB of poop last I checked and this is only mine. After you're done with that, reformat. Then now with that just try to never have a lot of tabs open and keep a look-out and all that poop. Some antivirus programs helped but I've only noticed few that are good so I mainly download when I actually need it.
But for now as a temporary solution whether you go with Opera or Chrome get the intercourse off of IE. Nothing else is worth it.
Also I advise when you're on to check your programs list often. One time I was browsing a guitar site for tabs and it gave me spyware all the sudden, so I went to google asap and got it fixed in about 30 minutes thanks to the help of some friends.

Um, are you sure firefox wasn't already running? Check the task list, and the system tray in the bottom-right of your screen. Also, you have a virus most likely.
ALSO, Do NOT get Chrome. I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about, but my dad's an expert on these things and says that Chrome is even worse than IE8, besides the fact that it's good at helping viruses get into your computer. Don't get it. Stick with IE8 if you don't have firefox, and if worst comes to worst get Opera.
Firefox > Opera > Internet Explorer > Chrome

Chrome is Google, bro. They're pretty good at what they do. That and it's FireFox speed which is a huge improvement over IE8 speed.

Huh, what. Chrome is far more secure than IE8. Most IT "experts" are operating on 5+ year old knowledge, and don't bother to learn about the new tech. Your dad's full of poop.

This, also unless you're visiting porn sites, torrenting, or opening up suspicious links on email or IM, you shouldn't be getting viruses if you've got NoScript and AdblockPlus on Firefox.

You're retarded, and so is your dad. :|
Chrome is faster than IE8. Speed and simplicity are pretty much the main focuses of Chrome.
IE8 is still probably the most insecure major browser out there, too.
And getting viruses is pretty much your own fault, anyway, not the browser's. What Chilly said pretty much ties with this. You can't blame Chrome for "helping to give your computer viruses," because it's your own fault.
The thing I don't like about chrome is that if you have too many tabs open the tabs get really small and you can't tell what they are anymore.

Don't open 20 tabs then.

I like them small, so I drag them to the left to get just icons. But whatever, Chrome isn't a resource whore either.
Chrome intercourse ing sucks, and I can't see one good thing that comes out of it. It might be better than IE8, in which case I admit my mistake, but it's not that good. At all. :|

Yeah... I suck at deciding on what to keep and what not to keep, often I have no idea what I'm doing so I either take too much and somehow take the problem with me, or I end up forgetting something and rage.

Bye Custom. I hope you're proud of relentlessly torturing an emotionally unstable person, who often has to resort to crying them self to sleep at night if not cutting, because no one ever understands him anyway.
Have fun with your miserable, unsatisfying life. See you in hell.

Okay, bye. I had fun relentlessly torturing an attention whore who used issues such as self mutilation to gain attention and sympathy.

I love you more and more each day.
It's starting to feel like old times again. Well I guess this calm couldn't last forever.
Though I think some of you guys were on the receiving end back then.
*ahem*
Any possible 2 step ways to fix my problem? (not exactly 2 step, just a short way)
Also K, you are pathetic, you let things bother you too easily.
Maybe do a system recovery back a few days or back before the problem started.

Problem is that it's probably a virus, and most trojans these days hook themselves into System Restore.
Firefox has stopped working before, I have no idea how I fixed it though, there should be a way >_>
I just remembered that my sister's current boyfriend is a super computer nerd, possibly more knowledgeable than all of you (not an insult), so he will look at it later, and for now, Chrome.
