Title: Your favorite mythological creature.
Post by: Syncopathic on March 28, 2010, 12:13:19 AM
Mine would be the motherintercourse ing Doppleganger.
It's you, in every possible way, except that it is pure evil.
It can ruin your entire life, all it needs to do this is an act of defamation.  No one's gonna believe you if you say otherwise, how can you when you have something exactly like you in every way?

I agree, Dopplegangers are badass, but there is probably something I like more but can't think of.

I do have to ask though, as stupid as it may seem.
What would happen if a Medusa made eye contact with another Medusa?

If I'm not mistaken, Medusa is the only Medusa
but if there were more than 1, maybe it would be a staring contest, whoever blunk first would be stoned.

Imagine dividing by zero. That's what you get.

All of the old Greek/Norse/Egyptian creatures are equally awesome imo, I guess the Kraken would be the most badass though.

I assume the same thing happens if Medusa looks into a mirror.
...THAT'S HOW SHE DIED.

Theres only one Medusa, but there's three gorgons I think.

I like sphinxes because sphinxes are cool.

Phoenixes are badass, but my favorite creature isn't really a creature, it's a race.

God darn, Elves are badass.

I thought voice was a smarter version of you, Reflection + Medusa = nothing, it's how what's his face was able to kill her, by looking at her reflection through his shield, and if I'm not mistaken, they did make eye contact once through the shield's reflection.
