Title: Technology you're planning to buy
Post by: Silverhawk79 on April 14, 2010, 03:38:35 PM
Chances are, you don't have everything you want, electronics-wise. So, what are you planning on purchasing?
For myself, I'm planning on buying some new headphones soon, and within the next few months, possibly a 360.
HOW ABOUT YOU

For the past year, I've been trying to get a laptop for personal use (Yuri storage and gaming), a PS3 (Failed numerous times), and an LED Light Bulb.
Because you don't get enough rave parties in your dreams. o_o

I know it's just software, but I'm planning on upgrading to Adobe CS5.

And I'm going to buy a faster Core 2 Duo processor for my laptop

Oh, and I guess maybe a faster processor or hard drive (7200 rpm) for my laptop.

This, running an 80gb here. I don't really want to reinstall everything, so I want to get a 500gb external

I want an eBook reader (that can read .pdfs and .chm files, as well as the standard eBook files) and possibly a 1TB HDD for that Touhou lossless music collection torrent.

Odds are, your case can fit another harddrive if you're running 80 GB.  Also, in the future please capitalize the b if you are referring to bytes rather than bits.  Also also, you can probably find 1TB externals for ~$100

Oh, I know it can. I just really don't want to have to hunt down my cases & CD-keys all over again. I already filled my Windows re-install quota for the year.

And sorry about the capitalization, just my habit of typing it.

I plan on getting a 360 and HD Tv for my team mates once we move in about a month. So we can set up a lan center.

In fact we were thinking about setting up a main stage like area and advertise others for lessons and challenges so we could earn some extra cash that way.

Blu Ray Player is the first thing. The 3DS is down the road a bit.

I'm guessing you didn't see the power consumption rates for it.

That's what happens when you put them in SLI. The explosion isn't as big with just one, but still.
