Do you have anger issues, or do you know somebody that has them?
I have this friend in my MSN that broke the hinges (I think that's what they're called) of his PC just because I was talking to him. Truth is, the guy didn't even yell at me, but another friend who knows him told me that he has trouble controlling his "emotions", which translate perfectly to anger issues (and ridiculous ones for that matter). Also, up to this day, he keeps reminding me "oh, and I still don't have my hinges", which drives me nuts, because I'm sure as hell my attitude was friendly towards him.
How about you?
Yeah, I won't say who, but they have some anger issues.
Ehh, im not really the biggest with anger issues. Im hard to get angry but when i do, it just goes pretty bad.
I mean jesus christ i clipped by a car yesterday on my bike and got somewhat of a bad injury, and i still kept my cool.
A friend of mine about a couple days ago got in a little rage fit and just lost it. I have been helping him out and he just seems to be easily proan to Flip emotions. He isn't bipolar, he has just been through a rough time lately.
If i ever get mad at someone...I really hate myself for doing so because it just isn't right for me to do so.
Funnily enough, I don't really get angry in real life unless I'm playing a game. That's basically why there's a hole in my wall right now.
I did when I was younger but I don't let most things affect me anymore so I haven't really had any problems for years now.
If you consitter hatting every person you meet until you get to know them an anger issue, then yes i have major anger issues! ragebot; I'm just good at hiding it, so to most people i seem to be compleatly impassive in person. |:
My issues are always resolved when i find a new spider tho. (yes I know my spelling and grammer suck, shut up magnum! >:( )
Meh, really depends on my mood. Usually I can stay calm no matter what happens, but every now and then I'll have like a moment of self-rage (which can possibly turn into rage toward other people) which lasts anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes. Completely random, and I have no idea if they have anything to do with depression or not. >_>
I have emotional problems, however I would not declare it as anger.
No, you really learn to mellow out after 6 years in retail.
I don't have anger issues, I won't just go on a rampage for some small thing, but I know I have a bad temper. It gets ugly when I'm truly mad.
Er, even though I may not seem like it, I can get mad easily...I can just...hide it is all.
I don't have any, i'm a very calm person. I get irritated, for sure, but hardly ever really angry.
My brother, on the other hand... Jesus, he is so freaking reatrded. He always freaks out at every little thing. He will drop like a penny or something out of his pocket, then yell out "FUUUUUUCK!" at the top of his lungs and be mad off the rest of the day. He also silently cusses under his breath constantly throughout the day apperently thinking nobody can hear him, when really everybody jokes about it.
I could go on and on with him, and he's supposed to be the older and more mature one :|
Well, let's just say I have major anger issues but I keep them bottled up. If I don't that would be bad because I have 4 knives in arms reach.
I DON'T HAVE ANY GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING ANGER ISSUES.
/me punches hole in wall
GAH.
:3
Jr Dude
I have a couple friends who do that.
My friend Andrew comes in to class, and sometimes he's happy as hell, but SOMETIMES, he's just so intercourse ing moody and doesn't want ANYBODY talking to him, doesn't do SHIT, and calls so he can go home, and gets REALLY mad off when he can't.
And my other "friend", Jake, just freaked out today because he couldn't have the computer he wanted because it had "viruses".
Note: Jake is known to lie just about every time it presents an advantage to him. He even said his mom died when I said "ur mom" when he called me a pervert. <----- This wasn't true.
Oh, one more. My one sister is bipolar, and we have a feeling the other one is too. It can get insane if they both decide to be angry at the same time. One second, they're fine, next, yelling, screaming, AAHHH!
nope, you have to really work hard to piss me off and even then I'm pretty laid back
DON'T YOU FUCKING GET IT I'M MENTALLY ILL
anyway
I do get angry, sometimes. Sometimes.

Holy piss, this is extremely similar to my situation. The major difference is that my brother is younger.
I'm not an angry person at all... except towards my immediate family--mostly just my brother, and I try to ignore him as much as possible anyway. I get angry at my mom for never listening to me, never having a good reason for telling me to do things, treating me like a 5-year-old, etc. The same goes for my dad for never having a good reason for stuff and misconstruing my intentions and tone of voice.
One of my friends from middle school once remarked that he had never seen me mad, that is, throughout all of middle school. I also never get truly mad at videogames and such. It not may seem like it
(to those of you who have witnessed it), but it's very small anger if it's any at all.
I'm insanely chill about everything.
I've been known to be a very angry driver.
Especially when I see people from NJ.
I live in New Jersey.
I'm pretty sure that our drivers aren't the most courteous people in the world. :(
X en Provence, France....
The drivers there are the worst i've been around.
Do I have anger problems? I don't think so. Nowadays I can control it pretty well. Part of the reason why I smoke is that it gives me a chance to get outside and away from people when it starts boiling up, and smoking a cigarette is a calming experience. I honestly think most people have put a couple holes in a couple walls.

I don't know why, but I think anyone who smokes more than one or two a day should die a slow, painful death. Actually, they will.

Oh, is it honesty time? I don't like whiny kids who complain all the time. I don't like people who post like they have some higher level of intelligence, yet it's never reflected in their posts. I don't like people who use suicide threats as a way to get attention, so that when real people need real help everyone assumes they're doing it for attention. I don't like people who act cynical and emo and wonder why no one likes them. I don't like people who claim an emotion or outlook but are unable to expressly identify why. I don't like people who do not know the difference between opinion and fact, and think that opinions are impregnable. I hope this wasn't too subtle for you. Oh, wait, no . . . this didn't quite reach the level of your post.

Not to start an issue, but I have to say, isn't that a bit of an oxymoron? While I don't know a ton about smoking, as far as I know, it should make your body speed up on all fronts. Breathing becoming shallower makes sense to me, but that would mean quicker breaths. What about that is calming? Is it a real physical response, or is it some psychological thing the atmosphere, or the people you are around?

You breath deeper and slower when you smoke, and that's the real physical part. You take long breaths in and slowly blow the smoke out. Also, the influx of nicotine. And I'm, sure part of it is psychological. It's rare to smoke indoors now, so you go outside, typically exiting the situation and getting away from everyone for a moment to a calmer place.

Well excuse me for hating smoking. I lost my grandmother when she was in her early 60s because of emphysema caused by smoking. My father smokes more than she ever did, and I worry about losing him too. My family is full of smokers, and that is why many of them get lung cancer or emphysema and die, before they even get to see their 65th birthday. So excuse me for having an opinion. And excuse me for needing help with my life. What if I did commit suicide? Would you be laughing? You probably would, since you appear to want me to do it so much. Also, what I said applied to heavy smokers, i.e. more than "one or two a day." Yeah, a few is, not okay, not healthy, but fine. If you smoke more than that, like a pack a day or more, then god do I feel sorry for you. And apparently you do since you took my post the way you did. I have no problem with you trying to avoid people. Hell, I'd want to do it too, and if I ever smoked a cigarette, it would be for that reason and that reason alone. So yes, breathe in. Forget your troubles for a minute. Feel good. Enjoy that minute. It's just one less minute you get to enjoy as you grow old.

You understand how these two statements are contradictory, right? You worry about losing your dad. But you want anyone who smokes a pack a day to die a slow, painful death. You worry about your father but want him to die a slow, painful death. Do you see it? Do you see how that doesn't make any god darn sense? Don't make a statement about how you wish painful death on people and get butthurt when they reply in kind. Either learn to read what you type, and think about it before you post, or get used to these responses.

Do you think this was a guilt trip for me? This poop does not work with me. You're not going to get me to backpedal and try to modify my statement, becasue I know what I type before I hit "post." The laughing part was probably the worst part. What kind of amateur are you? If you're going to troll, get better at it. If you're not trolling, then I don't know what to tell you. Read a book or something.

Oh, I see. I was in the wrong when I read your post that says anyone who smokes should die a slow, painful death. I must have been wearing my heart on my sleeve or something. Silly me.
Listen: If you're going to wish death on people, be prepared for strong responses from those people. You can't get mad or try to label them as malevolent when the respond in kind.

I was actually trying to incorporate a bit of humor into my post. "should die a slow painful death- actually, they will." I don't know if you knew this, but I often like to put a hit of humor into my serious posts, either by stating an oxymoron or an ironic statement like so.

Oh, Lord. I posted in the anger thread mentioning I smoke, and you post that you think all smokers should die, I respond, and I'm trolling you? Man, that poop don't fly. A "he started it!" argument? Again, no dice.
You want to talk poop on people, own it. Back it up. Don't try to play the victim. Poor K, who posted and was viciously attacked by that brigand Boredfanboy.

This is great. Now we're on to the "whatever" stage, where you didn't take any of this seriously and were just casually responding. Well, I guess except all that "poor me" info you posted about your grandma and father. So which is it, victimized or lethargic? It doesn't matter, because it inevitably leads to . . .

I was. If you don't smoke at an extremely unhealthy level, that's fine. If you do, then why don't you just drop the subject now? You have a chance to be the bigger person and forget all this. I'm just an immature little highschooler. Me no can do dat. D:
No, Bored won't be the bigger man. I'll be the man with an anger issue. K, really, shut up on the topic. Bored pretty well dissected you, and now you can't even accept it. I agree - smoking is silly. But at least when I challenge his logic, I try and better my understanding of it. You're not doing that, and frankly, it's annoying. Your time in the thread is done.

I remember having a friend that broke the glass off the outside door when a teacher got him angry.

I'm pretty sure that cigarettes--like alcoholic beverages--are a depressant. That's just off the top of my head though, so don't take it as a proven fact. It'd make sense to me if it were though.
I'd never thought of quicker breaths or shallower breathing, though. I've always thought that cigarettes slow down breathing and thinking. I'm pretty sure that it's a physical and psychological response as well--that gives the calm feeling, that is.
Also, I liked K's position more, but--admittedly--BOREDFANBOY's arguing worked better. Not to downplay the seriousness of your topic, but thanks for the decent read guys.

What about a female smoker?
And I can get a short temper once in a while. But my temper lasts a minute and then all my anger is gone. I can normally control it, but it's harder to hold in around family. Although I've gotten so much better. I don't lash out on my mom anymore. And since my dad is the same way as me, we sometimes get into huge screaming matches and then get over it and watch a movie together or something right after.
Although I blame some of my anger on being a teenager. It is slowly dissipating each year, so maybe I'm really not an angry person after all.

I found that fact a few times in different places, and they varied a bit each time. In general, each smoked cigarette takes about 10 minutes of life away from any smoker. I had a good reason for using that specific fact from before, but I can't remember exactly what it was.
Anyway, don't smoke!
