Title: Favorite 2 player fighter?

I'm thinking games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, etc.

Which is your favorite?

And intercourse ing limit it to two character games. I hate games where you have three people at once. I'm not a MvC fan.

I like Street Fighter, but to be fair I've only played Street Fighter games and BlazBlue.

BlazBlue is a close, close second but I still can't stop playing Dissidia. I prefer the mind games of that to the insane-hard-to-pull-off-combos of BlazBlue and other fighting games.

Uh...

Unsure on this really. 2-player fighters never really got down with me much but I really did enjoy Sonic the Fighters despite it's mediocrity. Then again I can be a bit gamecube controller biased.

I love Soul Calibur, II was one of my favorite games on the gamecube aside from Melee ^^;

But yeah, BlazBlue is my favorite, with Soul Calibur II (GCN) coming in second.

The only one I can remember playing (and enjoying) is a DBZ one, I think it was Budokai 2 or something, IDK.

My favorites are:
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Street Fighter III: Third Strike
Soul Calibur II
Mortal Kombat II or Trilogy
Darkstalkers 3
Tekken 3 and 5

You might like KoF '98. You control three characters but not all at once so you don't have to be on ritalin to play it or even follow it.

One of the Street Fighter games. I used to play it at the arcade all the time.
