Title: Rain
Post by: SkyMyl on April 28, 2010, 11:33:36 PM
We've had topics about snowfall in the past. I see no reason why rainfall should be deprived a "discussion" thread, no matter how incredibly stupid it is. Of course, all it would amount to is a thread asking who likes rain.
What a desperate attempt at a topic...
...so, do any of you enjoy or dislike the rain? And what do you typically do on a rainy day?

I love rain. Not a big fan of having to walk through it for long distances, but i ADORE sitting inside while there's pouring rain on my roof and thunder and lightning every few minutes <3

There's nothing like the sound and smell of rain.

On a rainy day I'll sit inside doing stuff on the internet or playing videogames, listening to the rain.

Oh, and thunderstorms at night are the BEST. I love going to sleep with the sound of rain on my roof and thunder in the distance.

I personally love rain, unless it's a torrential downpour and I'm outside, and then my shoes get wet and it's cold and and and ;____;
Ahem.
Anyways, as long as I don't have to be outside for any long period of time, I quite enjoy rain.

I love rain. Inside, outside, upside, downside, etc. etc.

It's amazing in general. I love the smell, I love the gray skies, I love the sounds, everything about it. It puts me in a good, yet melancholic mood.

Rain is bad for my hair. I avoid it at all times, but somehow I never have an umbrella on me.

The best kind of weather is right before it's about to rain.

I love rain, especially when I'm at our summer house seeing the rain blow across the water looks cool

I love the rain too.

Reason being is just that whenever i hear it when im going to sleep, it's just soothing. Helps me sleep.

I also like watching thunderstorms too, except when the lightning gets too close.

I hate rain. Not because of the rain itself, but because I hate humidity. It's heavy, and irritating to breathe.

Love the rain, I enjoy falling asleep to the pitter patter of the rain on my roof. Walking in it is also very soothing.

it's sweet.

Rain makes me tired. Very, very tired. However, it is also very refreshing to me. Coincidentally, it did nothing but rain on my days away from the computer. I feel great.

I dislike it more then like it, simply because my area can flood, and who wants to drive through that??

Honestly, I prefer Windy days over any kind of days.

I don't like wind. It's a pain to walk through, since my hair is always raped by it. Also, it's not even amusing watching wind through my window. I live like, in the middle of the woods, and it's somewhat unsettling having the trees swaying so close to my house.

The reason for that is, a year or two ago a tree crashed through my window at 3 AM. Scared the poop out of me. >_>

R.I.P. Window.

On behalf the wind, I apologize for your window. Know that every time the wind blows through you, it's soothing your pain of a lost window.

Now, let's talk about a category 5 Tornado going through your neck of the woods.  >:(

Rain...it's my favorite weather condition.  Besides boosting my Kingdra's speed, it also soothes my soul.

Eh, would have been better if my parents would replace the screen that's also damaged. My dad INSISTS on opening my window, like my window alone "regulates the temperature in the entire house" ...despite the huge gaping holes in the screen, even after like a crapload of tape. I get these huge-ass bugs in my room. >_>
