Title: New Super Mario Bros. Keep?
Post by: Magnum on May 04, 2010, 08:06:43 PM
New Super Mario Bros. and Wii were both very fun games in my opinion. I would like to see more get made, with new powers and the such. But I want to see it become more difficult as well.
So what do you guys think? Should this series stay around, or should they drop it?

I wanna see them use a more comfortable control option that doesn't require shaking the controller, but yes.

Maybe the next step is New Super Mario World.

This is actually EXACTLY what I want.

If they were smart (Which I think they are Sometimes) They wouldn't drop a huge hit like this.

HOWEVER- just like a reviewer on IGN says, in this time and age...most games need to go Online.

So yes, if this game had an online/Multiplayer Adventure mode, I'd be more then willing to buy it.
(lag free....but is This even asking too much?)

Nowadays, people like everything to go online, so yes, it's asking too much.

Well, I don't think it's "TOO MUCH"...at least have it as an Option.

I mean, if you make a game that does "THIS and that" and it sells "This well" because of everything ok.

But if that same game had an option to go "ONLINE"... that would appeal more people to it, thus selling "More", which thus gets Nintendo more "MONEY".

Such a logic, I don't understand why Nintendo doesn't follow it completely/accurately.
It's so annoying it's pissing me off...

Everyone wants games to be online for some intercourse ing reason when half the time in most games that have online you struggle with many issues, one of which being that its possilbe not many people play the intercourse ing game and another being that the online is terrible.

I love single player games, always will. I'll welcome the online options for games that SHOULD have them(shooters/fighters/etc), but a Mario game like Super Mario Bros doesn't need online to warrant a purchase.

The statement "game's need to all be online" is just as retarded as the "by 2012 non-motion based controllers will be obsolete" statement that I've been hearing everywhere, IGN being one of the notorious supporters of that statement.

The day motion controls take over traditional controllers is the day I stop playing modern video games.
