Many, many reviews are citing it to be a definite improvement over the first, which, much to my chagrin, had universal acclaim. I only gave the first an 8.5/10, and I'm thinking that based on these early results, this one will be an improvement for me (I hate reading reviews before I write one, but darn). Many of the things I complained about are supposedly fixed. You any more excited?
This is good news. Though it was to be expected.
Not surprised by this at all, although I still need to read a few more. Sunday can't get here soon enough.
ga dang, IGN gave it a "perfect"?
My interest in this game has just moved across the "Meh" bar.
I'm starting to get a bit excited.

Well of course IGN would give it a perfect. Let's just be thankful Matt Cassamasina didn't write the review, he'd have given in ELEVENTY BILLION OUT OF TEN!!!!!111!!zomg!11! Craig isn't much better, but at least he'll always talk about things he didn't like.
Watched their video review. "Galaxy 1 was great! Charming, fun, and a
challenge to players" Ha ha, ha ha ha ha ha!
If it weren't for New Mario Bros. for DS, Galaxy 1 would be the easiest Mario platformer. XD
Galaxy had what...two moments that were hard? It was a major disappointment on that it didn't offer anything to challenge long time players. Mario's a game/series for everyone, but it seems to forget that all too often. At least signs are pointing to a slightly harder game.

Based on what I've read that's actually in the game, yea, it looks a LOT harder than the first game, which is fine by me!
(things supposedly in the game that I've read in the tags)
things like the 120 Green Stars, having to unlock the Prankster Comets instead of being random, and designing the levels for more genre savvy players probably helps
