Title: How much do you not use your main?
Post by: Thirdkoopa on May 21, 2010, 04:27:30 PM
Me? With Lucas, I use to be attached to using him like mad most of the time but I've grown out of it with trying other characters so I'd say I'm pretty balanced. To get more experience, I end up first playing irl with my friends as Lucas, see their faults, and then use different characters.. As for other smash games I'm not quite sure.

How about yourselves?

I use my main, Yoshi, a lot, but I like to be random. Not choosing random, because I like to choose the color of the character I get, but yeah.

Since I don't play competitively, any time I play I'll start with my main, Lucas, but rotate between Diddy, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, and Mr. Game and Watch, and stick with whoever I'm most comfortable with.

I main Lucas. However, I will alternate between Mr. Game and Watch, Jigglypugg, Luigi, Mario, Toon Link, Ness and Kirby.

I like to think that I'm pretty decent with every character on the Roster, except for J-puff, Yoshi and Peach..................and Ice Climbers.

I'll randomly pick out of these characters, Snake, Pit, Metaknight, Lucas, Ike, Marth.
If I fail horribly with one, depending on the skills/strategies of my opponents I'll pick accordingly.

Like, if they pick small fast characters and seem to do very well with them, I won't pick up Ike, but Marth instead or Pit. If they use big characters, I'll play as Ike or Snake.
