Title: Trade in values?
Post by: Lotos on May 22, 2010, 03:37:41 PM
Ok, so I have:

DS:
Brain Boost: Beta Wave, Sims 2, Urbz: Sims in the City, Madden 2005, Tony  Hawk's Proving Ground (this one is sealed)

PS2: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2

GBA: Texas Hold'em Poker (sealed)

How much cash/store credit would I get for these at Gamestop?  fye? (also, if fye, I have Rage Against the Machine Renegades & Battle of LA.  Metallica's Death Magnetic & ...And Justice For All)

At Gamestop, I'd get store credit if they had Custom Robo at the one a few towns over still or Yoshi Topsy Turvey, or (if cheap) Sapphire.  At F.Y.E., I'd buy CDs.

...Or would it be better to sell all this at a yard sale?

Don't expect more than a dollar or 2 for each game.

For cash or store credit?

Don't try to trade in games that are sealed. They can't accept them. People try to trade in stolen factory sealed games all the time, so they just don't accept them.

But yeah you won't get much for each game.

Riddler told me Play N Trade might give a higher value, so I guess I'll try there then.  If not, I'll sell them all at a yard sale.  Thanks :)

No.
I told you Play N Trade is terrible with trade in values and sells their Legacy stuff for even higher prices.

Yeah, it's not gonna hurt to bag the stuff & take it around to see how much you'll get for the lot. That's what I do.
