Title: Father's Day
Post by: SkyMyl on June 19, 2010, 07:31:55 PM
[Insert inb4 here]

So tomorrow's Father's Day. I think. I've actually forgotten when Father's Day was, so I'll assume it's tomorrow. If it's not, then let's just ignore that. What's everyone getting for their dad/father on Father's Day, if you're getting him anything at all?

My mom, yesterday, literally text messaged my brother with the idea of buying him a DSi XL as a last minute gift, with the inclusion of ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE, as he's spent most of his spare time in recent years playing Solitaire. Even though the XL is still ultimately pointless, at least it served a purpose.

Yeah, discuss Father's Day and all the usual stuff.

Wait, when`s Father`s Day...? If it was yesterday, oops, I missed it `cause I literally slept all day so I could be awake for overnight shift at work. If it`s today, maybe I`ll stop at the store and get him something. Haven`t really paid attention to it for the past eight years or so... Definitely not a daddy`s girl, I can`t get along with that guy for anything... =\

I got my dad some nice cooking gear and some awesome camping cooking stuff.

They're like these cage things, and you put food in them, and cook them over the camp fire. It's so practical.

Then, he made some awesome steak and pasta salad.

I didn't get to spend Father's Day with my father. :\
Instead, I got to spend it with my brother who celebrated Father's Day for the first time.

Just like his birthday in March, we didn't have the time to get his gifts. D: He'll get them eventually--I hope.

Anyway, we actually got to church on time for once, which he greatly prefers, so that was good. I think I did a couple of chores for him too and then we went to a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. Although I'm not a big fan of spicy sauces and all that, it was really good. ^_^ I got the mildest sauce for my food and it was still spicy for me lol. =O
