This is the place to discuss current events that aren't specific to your life. In a sense, this will be a hybrid of Serious Discussion, Power On, and Power Down. Discussions here should be mature - thus, SD policies should be followed, although it won't necessarily be enforced as much.
Topics can range from the NHL Draft, to the BP Oil Disaster, to one of those stupid things Doodle used to always post. It doesn't matter what as long as a few things are followed...
1. If you take an article from somewhere, link back to it.
2. Discussion should stay on topic more than any other board.
3. Even with funny news threads, posts must have content in them, at staff discretion.
These aren't strict at all...just something to try. This board will not stick around - it will be a bit of a trial to see how SD could do with a different way of thinking, and to encourage discussion about BP, etc.
