So, is there anything that anyone here takes seriously? And no, I don't mean handling serious matters accordingly. I'm (obviously) referring to unimportant topics that aren't normally important in any way whatsoever, that you treat as if it was the BIGGEST FUCKING DEAL EVER. Try not to mention games, though. Even though we're all mature enough to not make a big deal over games.
MYL couldn't stop orgasming fanboy delight after seeing Nintendo's E3 Press Conference for six days.
...but games are just about the only thing I'll consider SERIOUS FUCKING BUSINESS. So I guess it's your turn.
He's actually lying. If you dare insult the Girls Love genre or the Pepsi brand, he'll unleash his nerd rage on you.

I take your mom seriously.

I take grammar seriously when I see it on a site that is "publishing." That would be blogs, review sites, news sites, etc. Even one period being off irks the hell out of me.

lol jpg.
What? I was completely serious about that. What makes you believe I'm not?
I was actually going to make a thread about this.

Same here, except that for me, it covers basically everything. Some other things that get me are wrong use of quotation marks, not putting a comma after the second item in a sentence's list (i.e. first, second
, and third), and getting all kinds of expressions wrong (e.g. "could care less" should be "could
n't care less"). Another not-exactly-grammar-related "thing" is when a body of--usually--informal text of any kind goes back and forth between using contractions and splitting the word. They should either use contractions in all cases or none of them.
I know I care too much... D:
However, a big exception is any kind of chat room "n wich case i dun think it usualy matters." In contrast to my Grammar Nazism, I'm a big advocate of textual convenience in chat rooms.
I care about cartoons, anime, and manga too much. I'm a proud nerd and will defend any and all of my interests. Another thing that I care too much about is free time; I must have at least an hour and a half every day--if not two.
On the other hand, there are actually a lot of things that other people make a big deal about that I don't care about (even though I should). In this case, can actually make a list:
- school in general
- schoolwork/homework
- college and the search for it
- work and chores
- my future (in the sense that I'm not planning any specifics for it)
- responsibility (only in certain cases)
- being considerate of others (only in certain cases)
- parental obedience
I highly regret not caring about the first two. The third as well, but less so.
