So there I was being angsty on the stairwell. Everything was pretty normal...then suddenly...
ZOMBIES!
Discuss this B-movie turned anime.
Well I haven't watched this yet. I'll take a look at it.
EDIT: Just watched episode 1 and it is not bad. Didn't know there was a manga on this. *starts reading*
I'll...look into it.
Pretty awesome so far. I read some of the manga a long while back, but I never really got into it. The anime's nice though. Pretty cool homage to 28 Days Later in the first episode.
Eagerly waiting for episode 2.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one to catch that reference (although I had to watch it a second time to hear it.)
Been wanting to see ep 2 and 3, since they seem to be out yet, but haven't been able to yet.
For now, I just think it's 'fanservice and zombies, the anime' and those two really don't mix together well, unless you're a fan of hardcore rape.
Ichi doesn't seem to happy about it either. It's still faithfull to the manga though.
Besides one scene in the manga, it's not that fanservicey compared to how bad it could've gotten.
episode 2 and 3 are a bit better. Oh, and I just found out half of the kids are apparently also Team Dai-Gurren members. I love connections like these. Go Viral! Go kill some Zombies with your nail gun of awesome!

Lovely. I'll be looking forward to that.
Been reading the manga since it came out and was looking foward to the anime but I lack internet now :(
So I finally got around to watching an episode. I like where this is going.
Also, I'm all for fanservice but that was a lot of panty shots in the first episode.
I've read all the chapters up to date. One of the recent ones though... just...
D:
But yeah, fanservice is always there, just isn't a major part.
I'm normally not into watching anime with subs, but this is too awesome to stop watching.

Fanservice is basically episode 6, which is the last episode I've seen so far.

gosh darn you always have the worst opinions poop
I prefer to understand what they're saying rather than read what they're saying.

I hate this attitude. This is why foreign films always get bastardized and completely needless American versions because people are too lazy to read subtitles.
For the most part, picking dubs over subs is like picking Taco Bell over an authentic Mexican restaurant. The real thing is just of higher quality.

*ahem*
Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fooly Cooly (equal to Japanese), Black Lagoon, Dragonball... *rambles on*
But yeah, reading subs isn't that hard dude, get over the fact that you'd have to see subs before a dub ever gets made.
Haha, I don't get why you people care so much that I prefer dubs over subs.
Some people say that the voices they choose for dubs suck in comparison to the ones for subs, but that would be because you heard the original voice first, got used to it and mentally love it, therefore it sounds better to you.
And often times, I will indeed pick Taco Bell over authentic Mexican Food, and I'm (partially) a Mexican.
