Title: Err, help.
Post by: SkyMyl on July 15, 2010, 02:53:43 PM
My headphones died. Again.

After...four months, I think, my headphones fell to the same problem as before: INTERNAL DAMAGE. I'm not buying these headphones again if they're going to keep breaking every three months.

If anyone can recommend me a specific brand of headphones that aren't ridiculously overpriced, and have good sound quality, it would be very appreciated.

I buy cheap headphones from those small miscellaneous stands next to the cashiers in Wal-Mart that cost $5 each. They're white and black. Even if they're cheap, they're nice.

1. Don't get Skullcandies. They break so easily it's not even funny.
Personally, I like these:

$10 or so at Wal-Mart, and they sound better than the $30 ones I just returned.
They should fit unless you have tiny vagina-y wimpy ears.

Tip #1: Don't get skullcandy. They're cool poop but they break so it's not worth it.

Tip #2: Follow tip #1. Really, do it.

I use these. They're not bad, and not too expensive.

Bass is awesome and the cable is much better than anything you'll find for 20 dollars.

They don't look very comfortable. Are they?

It's just those inserts they picture, they have like, 6 different sizes (2 of them are the double inserts and I don't like them either) and the smallest ones fit me best. The things themselves are smaller than the skullcandies and are made of metal... they make noise if they hit each other :<

Oh, okay. The double inserts look very irritating.

Also, THESE are VERY uncomfortable. D:

Seems like anything designed to sit in the ear is a bad fit for me, which is why I don't like the iPod ones, cause they have no way of staying in =/

Get the earhooks I mentioned earlier.
VERY comfortable (unless your ears are like, microscopic wussy ears)

I had a pair of those.  They sounded real nice, and you must have small ears, because I didn't think they were uncomfortable.  However, one of the earbuds died on me fast.

Strangely, I don't have a bad history with skullcandies.

Depends on how much you take care of them. I usually take good care of my headphones, but skullcandies are rather expensive, and the risk wasn't worth it for me.
