Rob seems to have forgotten about Theme Week, where users change their name and avatar briefly to that of another character, fictional or real, to match a theme selected by the users of NSF. Don't know why he forgot about it, but it's still a bit of a shame to have a slip like that for something that became a habit for NSF, something we haven't had for a while.
So, I don't know if many of you want a revival for it, or even care, but let's at least make up the Theme Week that we didn't get in August, only this time, I'll be taking the reigns for this particular week. So, start suggesting a theme to go by, if you guys want it at all.
Also, I'm only going to be hosting August's missed week. If Rob wants to continue with this at all as the host, then he can go right ahead. I just want to make up that one missed week.
Origin Week has been selected as August's theme week, so start searching for your old sigs, names, and avatars if you want to participate. If you weren't part of Oldsider/Nintendo's original Nsider forums, then you can use your original name when you joined NSF/FCD, and your old sigs/avatar, if you can remember them. Feel free to be as authentic as you want, if you want to participate.
Okay, August's theme week ended. Thank you to all who participated, and my apologies that I couldn't have made it as entertaining as I wanted to.

I don't believe I have or even remember my ORIGINAL sig and avatar, and I don't know where I could find out what they were, but I do have at least some of my older sigs and avatars.
It seems that we've reached an impact, with Metroid Week and Origin Week tied. I could be a cheating bastard and just throw my vote in, but that's unfair. If there's still a tie by the end of tonight, then I'll just do a tiebreaker.
Afterwards, the chosen theme will commence this Friday, ending next Friday.
Hate to triple post, but the person who last voted didn't post. The chosen theme is Origin Week! Veteran users, change thy name to what it once was on Oldsider, and if you never joined Oldsider, then what it was when you first joined NSF/FCD.

I lied and got mine changed to ThePowerOfOne, but some ass already had it and the stupid admins didn't check before they changed my name and all my pms went to the other inactive guy. It closed before they fixed it ;_;

I don't remember what I had for a custom title, avatar, sig, etc. when I was on Oldsider, nor do I remember what I had when I first joined this place. If anyone else remembers for some reason, that would be very nice. In the mean time, I guess I'll just use some sort of previously used avatar and sig with the one original thing I do remember: my name.
The problem is, I wasn't here for oldsider. I came in after it closed down.

Now, one interesting thing I DID find over on my relatively newer site Photobucket was a picture of Kirby and Pikachu from the early screens of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm not sure what sig I had with it, but I'm pretty sure that was my avatar at one point; do any of you older guys here or from oldsider remember a user (me) by the name of "Kirbichu"?

Err . . . Legacy, Power On, other places I can't remember. I wasn't on very long before it shut down; I think I only had about 300 posts.
God.. I miss Oldsider. Once I got the hang of everything... I so greedy with "self representation"... looking at the "rank" ladder and what it meant.
Just posting enough to have the rank of Koopa to post images and have a sig... It was the world to me when I reached that rank. :D
To see so many people there for years and to have That many post count and to have High ranks like that, I wanted that too......
I posted everyday, outranking/posting tons of people.

I went to Google and image searched "NSider icons".
I just realized that August's theme week kind of celebrates NSF's three year anniversary, coming in a few weeks. That's pretty awesome, but it kind of leaves the staff needing to do something else for NSF's anniversary now.
