Lots of people need organs. LOTS of people. Many die waiting for someone to donate their organs. If a friend or family member was in dire need of an organ, would you sacrifice the needed organ to help them live?
I doubt it. Something about being cut open turns me off on the idea. But who knows, maybe for a wife when I get one of those.
Depends on whether I'll die or not. I guess I would still be alive after donating a kidney, but I'm not giving away my liver or lungs.
Depends on what organ it is.
I would donate any organ for someone.
....
If I'm dead.
Otherwise I would probably donate like a kidney or part of my liver for a loved one.

Same, but no one would want my liver, after all the meds and the mono that probably scarred it.
I'd only donate an organ if I was the last choice.
Of course I would. I'd do it for someone I didn't know, too. I mean, I would prefer keeping all the organs I have because it's more convenient, but there are more pros to donating my organ then there are cons.
Probably not.

Probably not.
^^
This.
Even if it's somebody I love, I can't give up one of my important organs. Of course i'd do everything I possibly can to help them, but if I give up one of my organs, then I would be having problems too, which doesn't help anything. If I was dead, then go ahead and take whatever you want, I don't give a poop.

Other than that, it depends on the organ, and I'd have to think about it.
