Try to read this with a straight face.

Did Not Do The Research.
That's a joke right? Please tell me it's a joke.

Quoteand their adventures in Pokemon-land populated by fictional creatures called Pokemen (pronounced Pokey-Men)
I hate people that do this IRL. Not necessary relevant to the exact topic, just putting that out there. Also this clearly has to be a joke. Even the most devout Christians wouldn't make those kinds of assumptions. Also, the author spelled Pikachu "Picacu" once then highlighting it and the correct way every other time. And they spelled "Pokemon" differently pretty much every time. Now if it was real I'd think they'd be more consistent with their errors: i.e. pick their own thoughts on the correct spelling/grammar and stick with it.
Nonetheless, I got a good laugh. Decent job at trolling there, if you ignore the flaws.
I remember raging at this in middle school. Now I just find it hilarious, lol.
I stopped reading halfway through.
Everybody walk the dinosaur.
I suspected troll when it started saying super heroes were satanic and whatnot, and knew it was a troll when it said Pokémon was a hentai. The smallest amount of research will tell you Japanese animation is anime, or what she was looking at, manga. Kept on reading and it became more and more obvious and hilarious that anyone would believe it was real.
Quote from: Ultra ChristianAn image of Picachu "Evolving", from the Pokemon TV Hentai series. Whe this show was first broadcast in Japan, many kids had violent convulsions. The Pokemon-people said it was just "epilepsy", but knowing what I know now about this show I suspect that it was demonic posession.
Quality stuff.
Pokemon sucks. I support them.
People like this are the main reason I wasn't allowed to do Pokemon-related things when I was younger.
Well, not people EXACTLY like this, and my parents definitely aren't like this, but there was a pretty wide-spread panic attack when anime first started getting popular in America, and my parents bought in to some of it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to watch Dragon Ball Z either, not that I ever asked them if I could.
Also, op article is troll; posing as Christian then spouting out idiotic angry stuff like that is nothing new. Just look at KKK and Westboro Baptist.
This reminds me of when I was in fourth grade. In my music class, we had a little quiz, and on the back of my quiz sheet after I was done with it, I drew a Pikachu. My teacher scolded me for drawing yellow devils.
Ah, stupid christain fundamentalists are just as funny to laugh at now as they were in the mid 90's.
"Jigglypuff's trademark move is to sing songs which entice characters into a drug-like trance of sexual debauchery. This ultra-liberal pokeman says "It's Okay to be Gay"."
I literally lost it at that. Jigglypuff is now my new favorite Pokemon :D
I think this comment pretty much sums up what I thought after reading all that:
"You're joking, right Shelley?
You are. You must be. I refuse to believe that you are actually this stupid. It is technically impossible for a member of the human race to achieve this degree of stupidity."
Considering the comments, I'm certain this is real. Plus, it's "Shelly the Republican."
Oh my god.
She might not actually be trolling. Everywhere I go they talk about how she is just very opinionated and is very legit.
Holy mother of pearl.
Only way she could be is if she did her research by looking at lame comics made by fans or something.
Metapod? Nothing ever claims it is rare or powerful.
Jigglypuff? Jigglypuff doesn't talk, nor shows any sign of being a gay male. People normally assume it is a female.
"Craig Harris, the editor of IGN, a games review site described the Pokemon games as 'More addictive than crack'. Crack-cocaine is illegal in every country (except Iran), and we wouldn't give it to our kids, so why should we give them Pokemon games?"
This is basically a sign of either mental retardation, or trolling. First, she read a review and can't spell Pokemon? Second, just about everyone knows that what he said is a figure of speech.

You do realize how simple/close-minded and ridiculous devouts are, right?
I know plenty of devouts who aren't that close-minded. Another thing that might make me believe it's not a troll is if the writer is a devout 90 year old.
