Why MediaFire?
Well, at least it's not RapidShare.

Mediafire is the best filesharing site, in my opinion.
Heh, filesharing.
I'm old-fashioned. I just attach files in emails. Then again, I never need to send anything too big. Usually just a file or two.

Not exactly that efficient for sharing with forums. Unless you expect Silver to mass email the entire site every time he wants to share pictures with us. Honestly, Mediafire and Dropbox are probably your best bets for getting files to people quickly online. Megaupload and Rapidshare aren't all that spectacular, and most of the others out there are even more sketchy.

When I want to send someone files I don't do it on a forum.
I rarely send people anything.

Silver was sharing with anyone interested though.

Plus I'm almost certain that SMF's 'newsletter' feature (aka the mass emailer) doesn't support file attachments that large.
MediaFire is decent, and MegaUpload is "okay".
But RapidShare alone is just plain horrible.
I like mediafire. I like the way it looks and there's no wait times. The download speed is somewhat ok, and I very rarely run into any problems downloading.
RapidShare is silly.
Mediafire is among the best, in my opinion. Then, with what FH said, Dropbox is apparently pretty good, though I've never used it.
I like how we went from reaction images to the best file sharing sites.
I've heard good stories about DropBox, but I haven't actually used it either.
I've never even heard of Dropbox before.
Dropbox is a very, very useful service for saving files, documents, programs, music, etc. to a cloud. If you have multiple computers and devices, it can be used to synchronize your files across them all so you don't have to manually transfer poop to everything.
Oh, wow.
That's really nice.
I should give that a try sometime.
a lot of my friends use skydrive
When I download something I usually use MU.
