too lazy to PM just help us.
We're making you one of our two "version exclusive" pokemon in our NSFDex. Silver is the other and he's obviously a Silver Hawk.
What would you be? A Mackerel? A Moose? WAT?!
Help.
make super instead mack doesn't deserve to be an exclusive.

but I beat Super in the poll.
And I've no idea Rob. I've never represented myself with an animal.
Some people said Moose for the Moses part.
It'd be an interesting dichotomy to have the hawk prey on the fish but have the fish capable of doing severe damage to the hawk. To give an example, imagine I was Stunfisk and I'm assuming you guys are making Silver Skarmory (more or less). Stunfisk's ground moves can't do poop, but its electric ones can.
Oh yeah. That sounds perfect.
I always feel that pokemon counterparts should have 1 strength and 1 weakness toward one another to balance out their competitiveness. (Not sure if that's the right word)
Didn't someone once call Mack a cat, which prompted to make someone (think it was Bored) create an image with a cat facing a computer with the caption "FUCK, OUTED BY SILVER"?
I know this happened.
yes
I must have missed that.
Cause I don't remember.
For reference, Mack intercourse ing loves Stunfisk.
The brown whoppie cushion deserves the love it never gets.
If Mack becomes a Ground type of any kind, one of it's moves could be Smack Down, which makes Fly + Levitate Get on the ground and hitable by ground moves (I think that's the move anyway), then it's ground moves can kick Silver's buttocks.
So then pure Ground or Ground dual?

It's either Smack down or Knock down. One of these is the Japanese name, one's the English. Or something like that. I don't remember, honestly.

Ground/Electric, of course, like Stunfisk.

English = Smack Down
Japanese = Knock Down
Smack Down sort of gives off a wrestling image to me.

Isn't there a wrestling type program called Smack Down or something? Either way, it gave me a wrestling image to me too.
I thought it was fighting type at first (It was being used against me)

Somehow the term "Smackdown!" comes to mind as a wrestling event. I don't know if it is or not.
it is

I believe so.
I'm pretty sure I ran by it on TV once.
Wait, so he's gonna be a Ground/Electric Mackerel?

I don't even know anymore.
I really like the Moose idea, tbqh.
The Hawk is almost like a proud-American type deal and the moose is a proud-Canadian type deal.
The Hawk would be Steel/Flying, the moose could be a number of combinations.
Ice/Fire would be sick. Ice for the cold climates, and fire for the intercourse whynot.
Ice/Fire would give me type advantages on both of his types.

Steel resists Ice, so Ice is a no.
Oh you're right.
Steel also beats ice, but it's not very effective against Fire, so Silver would have nothing on you.

His steel would be strong to your ice.
Your Fire would be strong to his steel. The Fire and Flying are irrelevant to each other.

Fire cancels it out.

Missed that resistance.
Steel is weak to Fire.
Flying is weak to Electric.
Those are Silver's only weaknesses, so Mack must have one of them.
Steel is strong to Rock and Ice, Flying is strong to Bug, Fighting, and Grass.
Mack should also be one of those.
Electric/Grass?
Electric/Ice?
Grass/Fire?
uh

But none of those really fit Mack, really. Not like any type does, but I'm just not seeing it.
Then again Silverhawk doesn't have to be Steel. It was just an assumption based on the color and metallic qualities of physical silver, but really it can be any time combined with Flying... and probably colored Silver.

Silver himself likes Steel/Flying.
He's the owner of this place and since we're basing it on them, he gets first dibs on choice.

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure if he asked for the typing or if we just forced it onto him.
Do we want Silver to beat Mack? Mack to beat Silver? Both? Neither? If neither we have more options.
Just remove Electric since it resists both Steel and Flying.
Fire/Grass seems to be the only other option, but even that sounds irrelevant.
Fight/Fire.
Fire is strong against Silver's Steel.
Flying is strong against Mack's Fight. (If this is taken)
Fire is super effective. Fight is neutral.
Fly is super effective. Steel is not very effective (is it .5 or .25? I don't remember if steel is neutral or .5 of fight)
Mack has more power over Silver, but Silver still has power over Mack.
I was going to say that, but then I thought everyone else would end up hating on it since it was done in 3 Gens.

3 gens in a row as starters, never as anything else.

I think it was called WWE SMACKDOWN or something. And no, I don't watch wrestling, it's called commercials.

If this were to happen, epic battles would ensue. MACK VS. SILVER-FIGHT OF THE CENTURY. ONE, THE FOUNDER OF NSFCD, THE OTHER, NSFCD BUSINESS EXTRAORDINAIRE. WHO WILL WIN?

Alright then.
I 2nd that option.
While the carbon-copied Fire starters of that exact type combination caused me to hate it in general, there are still many more types that are way more used. (Water/Ground, Bug/Flying, etc) Plus, it fits Mack well in my opinion.
Fire/Fighting let it be.
I was also going to suggest Fire/Bug in place of Fire/Grass, but that wouldn't sound right.

We already have a Fire/Bug and it's rather weak defensively. Plus, contradictions galore. I have a good feeling we'll be sticking with Fire/Fighting.
Fire/Fighting, since it's a Moose, makes it feel like it's supposed to be a 5th member of the Gaykateer Trio. If you miss the point I'm trying to make here you're retarded.
If you make one of the sides Ice or Grass, it can represent the Mooses natural habitat.

I think Grass makes it feel like something of a Sawsbuck evolution.
