Title: Real Life Mario Sunshine
Post by: Nayrman on April 17, 2011, 06:48:58 PM

Yep, water powered jetpacks. Sure, you're still kind of tethered to the boat, but hey, I'd rent one if I went to the beach. Looks like a load of fun.

That looks awesome.
I wonder how much water pressure it takes for lift off.

Didn't Mythbusters do this with a car?

Yes they did.

OK E. Gadd, now I want a navy blue bib that makes me look like a blue liquidized version of myself, or Mario.

I'm not sure if it's something that would "cool you off".
Getting wet maybe, but cooling you off doesn't sound likely.

I just noticed. In Mario Sunshine, you can spray a poop ton of water on sand, yet it acts like normal floor, it doesn't do anything to the sand (except in very few situations where it comes off like the respawning paint in the game)

Yeah. During my playthrough of the game I was stunned by it.
It looked and acted far too plain and generic.
I was actually expecting it to stay a darkened color and get absorbed into the sand like real life.
