We get hit by hurricanes fairly often. A good one most years. I'm so far inland that I don't really get bombarded; it's just like a massive storm. To roofs tearing off or anything. Trees do fall though, but that's life.
New York is almost always at the end of a hurricane's path, too, so we really don't have destructive problems. Hurricanes are cool though.

There were apparently really bad storms sometime some weeks ago or something. It's only rained here once, but when it did, it was a hailstorm.
