Okay so ever since I moved my bedroom to the bottom floor I've noticed a bit of a bug problem in my house. I'm not worried about cracks in the walls, window frames, etc., because I know they just run in from the garage when that door is opened.
Now I'm not afraid of them, I just hate them. I tend to walk around barefoot in my house and I'm really intercourse ing tired of stepping on those half-inch ants and beetles that crawl around periodically. So I'm gonna go out and see if I can find some sort of chemical spray I can put around the base of the door to the garage or something. I'm not looking for an exterminator or anything, since I can't prevent them from living them in the garage.
So does anyone know of a good, efficient way to get rid of these things? Whether I can just stop them dead in their tracks before they hit my room or repel them away from my living space, I don't care. I just don't like them in my room, on my floor, and stuck to the bottom of my feet D:
Wear slippers. I have the same problem. If not, just get some spray and cover all the basement with it. Cover the door frame, windows, and such.
High amounts of radiation.

Not going barefoot is not an option.
M...ove. Yeah. Move.

Move what
Homes. Children. Families. Mountains. Emotions.
Locales. Somewhere with less insects. It is the only viable option.
I hate bugs in the house as well. There's a slight centipede problem at my dad's house during the warm months, and I'm pretty afraid of them just because they're so hideous. Seriously, I cringe like Ryuk on an apple withdrawal when I see one of them. And at my mom's house, there's recently been a slight ant problem for the past two months or so.
Anyway, I'd look into any old bug repellent and get a few of those and/or whatever is needed. All I can really say is to take the necessary measures to keep out the pests.
You could also get used to watching where you step. That's kept me from stepping on many a bug for a while.
Have you found any bug Pokemon?
You should buy some Terro brand traps/sprays. We've goten some ant infestations in our bathroom before and set some of the traps in there and within a couple days they were no more. It doesn't actually trap them, theres food like stuff in it that they bring back to their nest and totally wipes them out

And then the Overseer (his parents) would go insane and kill everyone.
eat them
might as well replace the energy it took to step on them

I think my uncle used something like that in his house. I think I might try that.
There is only one solution to a bug problem. Fill your house with frogs. The frogs will eat the bugs, and when you have too many frogs, you just need to introduce something that will eat the frogs.

We have frogs everywhere (outside). But if I let one in it would hop everywhere and get lost and die ;-;
Ok, next plan. Light the house on fire. It'll scare the bugs out, and if you do it just right, your parents will get to do all those renovations they wanted (because who doesn't).

It will not scare them
They're Buzzy Beetles.
Fire doesn't work.
