So apparently there was a 5.9 Earthquake at the East Coast today. However, although the earthquake was the biggest in history of that side of the world since the 1800s, the coast didn't feel it too much. Earthquake fail much?
Did somebody here feel that quake, though?
I felt nothing here in Western Mass.
Woke me up in NY when my bed was shaking. Scary stuff.
Apparently other people in the area noticed it but I didn't feel anything.
Allegedly there was one in Colorado, but I felt nothing in Missouri.
as a resident of california, i think you're all pussies
This was the damage done from the earthquake. It's pretty bad, actually...

...Not.[/spoiler]
It was really strange. Authorities have been trying to locate the epicenter. Conflicting reports put it right about here:

Felt the ground shake (along with the aftershocks) here in Virginia. I was actually in Busch Gardens (amusement park) at the time and they had to shut down all the rides so they could inspect them and make sure they weren't affected by the quake. But yeah, I felt it.

Since it's something we've
never really experience before, it scared the intercourse out of us. You can't tell me if something new like this suddenly hit you you wouldn't be freaked out.
Was anybody here whining though?

Do not speak for the rest of us you sad, sad excuse for a man.
I must have been out walking when it hit but I didn't feel it. What a joke.
A 5.9 earthquake to a West coaster is no different than that of a bus passing by, boo woo East coasters.

it's called rain

I was in VA at the time. Some people felt it, some (like me) didn't even know it happened, even within the same building. Strange.
I felt it. So did my grandmother. For a second, she thought it was a ghost. lol

I felt something but thought it was from the bumper cars I happened to be standing on a platform next to. It was the only thing I could think of because earthquakes on the east coast are virtually unheard of, then when I found out it was earthquake I had a feeling of "So THAT's what that was."
Then I'm sure I felt one or two of the aftershocks, or separate small earthquakes. Whichever they were.
I felt nothing in Kansas, though I heard some people in western Kansas felt the Colorado quake. I bet an 8.0+ hits the KS-MO border soon.
No one cares about Kansas City don't be silly
