Yep, biggest hurricane to ravage the East Coast in several years. Who all is gonna be hit by it?
My city--I just found out--is in an area where there is supposed to be "Extreme" damage. I'm now just a bit worried. Mostly because my house is surrounded by trees that I really hope don't fall down like the one that took out my window 3 years ago ;-;
We should all still be alive after this weekend though.

I like them too. Don't care how heavy the rain is and how strong the thunderstorms are, as long as trees don't kill important buildings and stuff

I support the destruction and death too. It's a good example of natural selection at work.

I hope it kills all the morons in the city. All of them.
Looks like it's gonna miss SC (mostly) so it's all good.

New Madrid Fault (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Madrid_Seismic_Zone)
And we get pretty devastating floods, too.
There are a lot of tornadoes here, though.
this thread is now a pissing contest
what do you call a west coaster in the rain? a wet vagina-y
how many missourians does it take to rebuild a trailer park after a tornado? idk they were breathing too loudly with their mouths to hear me ask them
what did the earthquake say to the east coaster? you're a homo
Hey, it's raining. It's been a light drizzle for the past 4 hours. Seems like an outer arm is hitting us early, since we're not supposed to get any REAL hurricane weather until tomorrow.
Out here in DC, a massive tree feel right into my university's library and Starbucks. No more delicious Starbucks coffee. :(
Ah hell. My road's a wreck. The most notable feature is a tree falling perpendicular to the road, blocking it completely, taking a power line down with it. It looked pretty darn scary.
On the other end of the road there was about a foot and a half of water we had to drive through. Everything else is covered with a layer of green treelimbs and branches nearly impossible to drive through. You couldn't see the gray of the road at all. It's just pure hell.
My power's been out since Sunday morning, and it's still out. I'm at my uncle's house in the nearby city for the day since they got power back already. It might be a week before I see it again at my house. :(
