I'm starting college in the Fall. I guess you could count that as an achievement. I'm not sure what my major is going to be. I've been juggling with graphic design, music composition, and game design as possible choices, but I'm not sure. I guess I'll have time to think about it while I do my gen. eds.

Nothing.

High School doesn't mean poop, but since I'm in the top 10% of my class I guess I'm not a total loser.

Yeah i skipped college... The massive debt I would of assumed and I have no idea what kind of 'career' I would want to pursue.
I was even advised to skip it by my HS counselor. But thats great for all you people doing college :) Anything beside academics?

I hate all kinds of school, so I don't count any of it as achieving anything. I will say that I just finished my first year of college however, since many of you have said the same.

By my own standards, I've achieved nothing.

Started a handful of new sites, including the ever-popular last.fm 3x3 generator (http://www.tapmusic.net/lastfm), along with a barebones Android app to go with it. Finished 3rd year of college. Joined a band.

I like how you didn't specifically mention NSFCD

I wouldn't put it at the top of my list either.

I finished college. Worked my ass off to move back home and make part time money! Woo!

But yeah, an interesting time in my life, but I'm kind of glad it's over. I really just kind of wanted to move on from those things and see what life has in store from here on out.

I finished High School and I'm currently in College and whatnot... but I don't really consider either of those things to be a life achievement.

So far, I guess I don't have any, but I'm still young.

Sounds good man. I'm really interested in hearing how you guys develop your sound; you've got a good foundation. If you ever put anything out or write something new, let me know.

Well, I have some recordings of us practicing, but the sound quality isn't the best.

Wow. Despite the recording quality, those were really good.

If I sound like I'm brown-nosing or too interested, it's just because my friends and I are also in a band of sorts and I really like it when my friends (including those outside of our band) are involved with music. It's kind of inspirational, I guess.

I escaped Texas, and started going to school in San Francisco.
That in itself is a pretty big accomplishment considering I'm the only one in my group of friends back in Texas that actually left the state and went to school somewhere else.
Everyone here settles for community college, or a very nearby college. They never go far.

I know that feel. Only one of my close friends went out of state. I don't know why the rest of them stayed home; going away is fun. I know I wanted to get as far away from home as possible.

Then again, I also wanted to leave everyone I knew and start afresh. Luckily, that much happened.
