I just don't get it.
It isn't.
It's fairly entertaining if you're a creative fellow.
it is
It's fun building stuff with friends
I haven't played it in ages but I enjoyed dicking around with it
it's less fun than it is addicting.
it used to be fun.
all the adventure crap ruined it, that was the wrong direction to move the game in.
mfw when uncreative kids can't turn off the adventure stuff and just have fun building homes and structures
did you guys toss your legos aside for nes games or something
but you cant

but you cant
is the meter on the bottom really going to ruin your experience
creative mode is still there, that's what the game was similar too way back when i played it on their website
after that it was pretty similar to what exists now but you just gotta turn off a few things. you can turn off monsters and poop. crafting is still fun. i dunno dawg

yes
it did
i want the monsters and i want to collect my own resources and everything, but i dont want to be forced to collect certain resources
creative removes the sense of accomplishment

happy birthday
yes im not surprised someone modded it out
has modding progressed past the point where every mod has to be updated and reapplied every time the game updates?

i'm pretty sure the final version of the game was far more mod friendly than the previous versions
all of mine have still worked over the updates
i could be wrong in this case though, i don't have this hunger bar thing
that may be, i had stopped playing before that
ill probably give it another chance at some point, but i had started to grow tired of it and the change in direction was the excuse i needed to quit
I can see how Legos and Minecraft are kind of the same idea, but somehow the boring presentation of Minecraft just makes me want to scream rape.
minecraft is the perfect thing to play while listening to new albums/podcasts

That might make it more interesting. Maybe.

i just feel like i'm wasting time when i'm just sitting around focused on a new album
but minecraft is worthless and mindless enough where i can just build poop and not worry about anything
so i can still focus on listening to music or what people are saying in podcasts and not feel like i'm wasting my time
i realize this is a weird personal quirk but this is honestly the only reason i still play it
i dont like listening to anything other than a game's intended music when playing.
I just browse poopty forums when I need a background activity. Though good albums have no problem capturing my attention entirely.

they capture my attention i just feel like i need to be doing something other than just listening to music
like driving or playing a mindless game where I don't feel the need to listen to the intended music
Does Minecraft even have music?

Does Minecraft even have music?
yes but it's ambient

AKA bland?
Completely different. Honestly. Ambient does not mean anything close to bland. There is a lot of great ambient music. For instance, movie soundtracks with good music are often ambient. Video game music. Stuff like that.

Well I suppose ambient music wouldn't be a problem for an otherwise exciting game. But Minecraft is the epitome of boring and pointless.
