Today, a terrible tragedy has been marked as bombs have blown up during the 4 hours and 10 minute mark as racers crossed the finish line killing several and injuring many innocent lives.
This had me scared half to death because members of my family were in the city when this happened and my sisters fiance was at the finish line waiting for his younger sister to cross the finish line. He left the finish line two minutes before but was only less than a block away from when the explosion occurred and saw....everything. I have not ever received such bone chilling, gruesome, news in my life .... and the scene was horrific...I simply cannot describe it.
My thoughts and prayers go to the ones who were killed, injured, witnessed, and have been traumatize by this terrible course of action.
I was at work when Custom actually gave me first word about what happened in Boston. It's completely sickening that someone would do something as cowardly as this. My thoughts go out to everyone in Boston tonight.
The government is going to use this and subsequent tragedies to impose martial law
just watch

Just like how they're using Sandy Hook to impose gun control laws, but that's a story for another day.
Honestly, there really isn't much I could say about the Boston event that hasn't already been said. I'm not going to just spout cliches like "thoughts and prayers" because that's just impersonal, and not really a good testament to how disturbing the whole thing is.
But what I'll say is I'm honestly shocked. I really can't wrap my mind around how someone could pick this venue for an attack. I mean, it's disgusting to pick ANY venue, but this isn't even a government location, it's not a significant building or structure, it's not anything that could possibly involve anyone but innocent people. I could try my hardest but still not understand what the perpetrator was honestly thinking as he or she went through with this plan.
The news has made it halfway around the world though, and pretty quickly. Barely an hour or two after the attack hit I got confirmation that people in Europe are in fact talking about "the bomb that went off in America".
Disclaimer: I was out most of the day and as of writing am not really fully informed of the exact details here, so forgive me if I got anything wrong.

Same thing can be said about that Colorado shooting last year. Any place where a lot of people are together can be targets no matter what.
I'm just really tired of all the mass tragedies that have happened, I feel like it's becoming a bi-annual thing. Like, do we really need any more unnecessary violence in the world? We already have all these awful things happening overseas, no more dumb violence please.

So are you saying that it's nothing more than just pure sadistic terrorism?
Because you'd be right.
it's the boston massacre all over again
