Have any of you noticed Kirby isn't in that demo, but Meta Knight is? Why would they make Kirby unlockable?
Any way, I'm so glad the Metroid stage is Norfair. Mabye that can be Ridley's stage :D
Yeah,
I guess thats what Demos are.
What's the big deal? Kirby could be unlockable, you never know.
Most likely the reason they didn't show Kirby was for his hats.

It's called common sense.
Kirby=Hero and main char of series
Meta Knight=A Villian of series

So, villians can never be first? When did that become a rule?

And of course the thing between Kirby and Sakurai..

Heroes come before villains, obviously. It doesn't make sense to make Kirby, who has already been shown in over 9000 screenshots, to be unlockable out of NOWHERE.
Bowser wasn't even in the first SSB, by the way.

Its like putting in Bowser before Mario...

Where did that come from?
All I'm telling you is to use some common sense. Kirby was a starter in the other SSBs, and was already feautured in many screenshots and videos in Brawl. If he was unlockable, that would ot be so. Also, Meta Knight is a villain. It'd make sense to make him a starter if Kirby was one too.
They wanted to show off Meta in the demo.

Well I had to introduce it sometime. You have absolutely NO IDEA what Brawl will have to offer right out of the case. So don't try to prove someone wrong when it's impossible for them to prove you right.
Fine, those could be the starters, but they have a miniscule chance of being so.

So did anyone read what I said about the hats?
I read it and I think that was a fake screen. If they didn't want to show Kirby because of hats, they could have told them not to pick him.
