It also has Naruto, Inuyasha, Tails, Knuckles, and a terrible physics engine, what's your point?
Don't forget Mr.Incredible
SSF is an abomination. End of story. Get some friends together and play some Melee. You now have 4 months to practice.

Whats the point? All the Melee character might be completly different in Brawl (like how much Kirby and Jigglypuff were powered down from SSB to Melee)

Unfortunately, he's right. For all we know, Kirby might have a new move or something...

At least it's something to do....Try doing a speed run of Kid Icarus and posting it on Youtube. Or playing Halo 3/Orange Box if you own a 360.

More like just try to get far enough into KI to see Eggplant Wizard :D
Doesn't mean you can't improve your general skill at the game. Since I've played it so much, I can play with most of the characters decently, even though I never use, say... Bowser. The physics engine doesn't seem to be getting a complete revamping, and the speed doesn't seem horribly changed. Besides, Melee is awesome, it's a great way to pass time.
Eh, I suppose. But still, what if a character gets a new "flavor"
All the characters will almost undoubtedly have changes made to them, but that's the point of a new game. But playing SSBM will almost definitely make you better at SSBB when it comes out. You'll be able to pick up new characters faster and easily, mindgames will be easier to develop, if wavedashing/Lcancelling stay (they probably will), there's another thing that will make you better.
The way I see it, there's general skill and character specific skill. Sometimes the application of the general skills is tweaked slightly from character to character, though.
Indeed. New characters might pick up the flavor of old ones, so if you were good with the old character, you might be good with the newcomer.

This isn't X-Box magazine. :(
