Title: Ike is officially, not a marth clone.
Post by: FULL_METAL_RYDER2 on October 12, 2007, 02:08:17 PM
Check IGN's Video "Delfino stage" and carefully watch Ike, none of the moves performed are Marth's.

with the exception of his Down Aerial.

And another video I saw would imply he can also use counter... but otherwise all his moves look completely different.

I never considered his moveset to be an Marth moveset.

His moveset on the Dogo website is different from Marth's thus far anyway.

Isn't his B move the same thing as Roy's?

Anyway, that's cool. Yeah.

Uh, no, He stabs the sword into the ground and pillars of fires shoot up knocking enemies straight into the sky, Roy's is nothing like that.

Doesn't anyone think that Ike's up-B resembles Kirby's past up-B?

No one knows. It hasn't been updated. And why would Ike be a Marth clone? He seems to e a heavy character with completely different moves!

In the first trailer, we see Kirby use his ^ B, and it's the same.
Final cutter FTW! :)
