I do so among friends because it's all in good fun, usually when a get a delicious headshot in Gears. I usually laugh maniacally or shout a Kool-Aid man "OH YEAH!". You know, making an ass of myself in general.
Otherwise I'm fairly quiet when I play against random people.
I talk all the time. No matter who when or why !
only when my opponent REALLY sucks.
Like, this one time, I was playing a Civ 4 Team Game online. Anyone who knows anything about Civ 4 on the Inland sea map knows that if you're on the outside, you have to build warriors.
this idiot didn't.
I sent one warrior and he died as soon as I got there. complete idiot. -_-
the reason to get mad off for that is because the games take so long to:
1. Initialize
2. Synch
3. Fill up
4. Finish
and if you're being a jackass, it all gets ruined.
Not really......
I mean.....
it isn't really my style to brag like that.

So ...when I'm kicking your tail in SSBB for example,
and I brag, and shut you down, don't ever give you a chance, show no mercy,
make you act/feel/look like a total n00b infront of people you know and don't know, and make "You" feel
like a, "Loser", I think we can call it even then.
;)
I can Do this,
But the "good part of me" influences me not to do it.
If they start doing it to me, I'll make them sound like an idiot. And what I say back to them usually makes them so mad it gets really funny. XD
No.
Bragging about your skills in video games? C'mon...
I don't brag about how good I am in Civ IV, because I'm not. I criticize those who are complete morons at the game and don't realize that in order to survive, you need a FRICKIN UNIT INSIDE YOUR CITY.
Nope. I joke a lot though. :O

Like substituting human interaction by chatting on internet message boards is any better.
Don't think you're in a different boat than the rest of us.

Actually, there's a difference between just chatting with other users online and trying to brag with them...
I don't, by the way.

I'm still opting to interact with someone virtually over interacting with them in real life. How is it any different?

Your attitude and kindness towards the person is different -_-

I'm really not familiar with SERIF Photoplus. Good luck anyways. :)
If you claim to not see the difference... I don't believe you.

You need to get a darn mic. I can't make an ass of myself if I'm the only person yelling. I feel like a crazy (ier) person.
The only online game I have is Socom II, and I stopped playing that a while ago.
Because I am female, and because the online gamer population on this particular military game is male-dominated, I don't talk at all, just because I'm intimidated.
If I did, i'd be a hypocrite!
You see, I get smack talk ALL THE TIME on online play!
Why, I was playing Halo 2 online last year. This one guy had shot me. (But didn't kill me.) He then called me the N word. (What an ***hole!) So I sniped him in the head and siad, "Oh, REALLY NOW?"
BTW, I won the game! 200 to -17 frags!
Shujinco, I know just what you mean. Socom II is notorious for really dirty swears and such. I even logged out a few times because I didn't particularly like the language they called me when I won MVP, especially after telling them all I was female. It's the main reason why I don't play the game anymore.

Yeah, but the ONLY thing better than totally PWNING a Trash Talker is totally PWNING a hacker! And the only thing better than THAT is totally PWNING a Trash talking Hacker!
PWNING ***holes online is fun!
I'm really good at Socom II. In fact, I'm a commander. When I win games without telling people I'm female, they congradulate me, and treat me as a buddy. But once I telll them I'm female, and dominate the game, they vote me out of the game and I get booted back to the general server. :| That's a second reason why I stopped playing, because of the male chauvanistic tendencies.
I love beating people that talk trash to me, and I love killing hackers. This one guy laid basically thirty mines on the ground and made a box around himself. Normally, at most, you could only have eight, so I knew this guy was a hacker. I spent my time positioning myself and sniped him in the head, he didn't even know I was there. I felt proud of myself. xD

LOL PWNT!
Seems like your pretty good at Socam! Never played it, but I'm pretty sure I could frag you a couple times! ;D
And I think that it's total BULL that they don't want you in their game because your a girl! I'd be HAPPY to get PWNT by a girl! And heck, I'd invite ya OVER AND OVER AGAIN! My sister plays Serious Sam (As do I), and she PWNS online! (Unless, of course, I'M around to do some PWNING!) But she gets REALLY angry because people don't like being PWNT by a 10 year old girl, and kick her out! (Of course, she ALWAYS get's her revenge! >: ) )
Have YOU ever played Serious Sam? I'm PRETTY sure you wouldn't be able to beat me for a WHILE!
No. D: It's mean and it makes the game less enjoyable.
in games like Civ 4 and Halo 2, keeping a level head is half of the game.
the other half is made up of random occurrences and skill. :P
Sometimes, but me and my friends use "BOOM HEADSHOT" in real life.

Ah, the reason I never talk on Rainbow Six Vegas.
Whenever I actually talk, my team invariably makes a big deal out of it.
"Holy poop! Are you a girl?"
Then, of course, they figure out my race, and proceed to make racist comments. I've been called "Gook!" on too many occasions.
I honestly don't get why people make such a big deal about playing a game with the opposite sex. Of course, my mind is usually set completely on the game.
Deoxic: Yes, I do have a mic. However, 3/4 of the time I don't feel like talking. Go ahead and ninny to me, I can hear you.

I don't ninny, I say stupid and random things without notice. I never be angry and ninny. :O
For planning tactical maneuvers with my teammates and that. ::)
I don't play many games that I actually can talk in (olol NWC and FFR) but I do playfully try to get on ppl's nerves, especially in MKDS. Sometimes when I find someone who doesn't know how to snake and is pretty bad, I pretend I don't know how to snake and stay close behind the person and then in the last stretch or whatever I just snake like crazy, or then if the person doesn't d/c after that I snake like crazy through the entire race and then do my signature "stop and then turn around and back slowly into the finish line" move just as the person is in sight.

Exactly why Gears kicks so much ass with friends. Firefights at Subway are epic (lol pun) because we're constantly shouting orders at each other.
No. I insult them if they have no freaking clue what they're doing, though. Or if they insult me. Usually I just point out that they sound like a complete idiot, especially if they say 'pwn' or 'noob'.
I've never even had the opportunity. :(
I was playing HL2: Deathmatch, I threw a mailbox at someone, and I yelled "YOU GOT MAIL!". So yes, sometimes.

If anyone else is on your team and they see you do that, you could get normal/good response.
You will sometimes find me going "YOU GOT OWNED" or "BAM! HEADSHOT!"
