So I was refueling my car and I thought:
"If 20 bucks fills up 70% of the tank and I only have 15 bucks then what percent of the tank can I fill up? Okay so 15 is 3/4 of 20 which means the percent will 1/4 less then 70. Let's see 15 is 1/4 of 60 so then I simply have to spread out the last 10 percent amongst the quarters. If 25% of 10 is 2.5 then that means I just subtract 17.5% from 70% and I get 52.5%"
Who else would start thinking about this?
I WOULD but minus all the unnecessary thoughts.
"Previously, $20 filled the tank 70%. I are has only $15, so that's about 50% of the tank. I shouldn't care any more than that, because these numbers aren't precise"
That's right, but you could have just done 70*3 = 210, then 210/4 = 52.5
That's true.
yes, you are quite the whale penis.
See? Math is important in the real world ;D

Yeah, let's do some integral calculus for fun, Zovi. ;_;

I once made a Pascal's Triangle to the 32nd power for fun >.>
here's one to, let's see...

Try doing one in hexidecimal ;_;

no thanks, I was sad enough when the one I made was lost after the end of the schoolyear because I forgot to take it out of my locker (it was hanging on the door)

look up dork on dictionary.com.
if thats not what it gives you, then send in a submission, because that's what "dork" means.
Math sucks, and I will never use anything more than basic math and finances.
Not me...I would just pay the 15dollars..
Okay...
EWW, MATH
I do time/distance calculations as I'm riding home on my bus. After repetition I figured out that if I passed this corner store at 1:45 or sooner I would get to the ferry I catch before it leaves at 2:00.
You aren't alone. :P
I also do metric/imperial conversions in my head sometimes.

I, for one, actually will use a ton of math later in life.
For something as simple as html, css, or digital images, I have to know how to multiply in hexidecimal.
I have no clue why math is so important. All of those complex algorithms...
VERY few ppl will EVER use them, and if they DO, it'll only be once or twice in their lifetime.
