Well, today I had my midterm for Calculus. I did take calculus last year, but I'm taking it again as a refresher.
Anyhow, one of the problems was
(http://i20.tinypic.com/o6ebld.jpg)
Sin(0)=0, so it would turn to
Sin(0)
______
0
But, I forget the exact reason but I remember, sin(x)/x always equals 1, so I put 1 for my answer. I'm sure that's right, I'm just making sure I didn't intercourse up.

I hated limits during calculus.
I can't wait to get to derivatives and integrals. I am awesome that that. :robothappy:
I'm taking Trig/Math Analysis right now, which also covers derivatives and limits at the end of the course. :(
I just started pre-calculus this year, so I can't really help you with that.
I'm not taking anything after Algebra 2 >_>

Get off the internet.
I might take Calculus next semester. ;_;
I'll probably take AP Stats instead if I can get a grade level exception.

yeah you're correct.
yeah, sin 0 = 0... and so it would be sin 0 / 0 which... is 0? I think?
Wait, I though you couldn't divide by 0.
That's because as x approaches very small values (it's not touching zero here), the value of sin x almost equals x. And x/x = 1.

You need to find a way to get the x out of the bottom. If you are getting something with 0 as a denominator, you aren't doing it right and need to go back and do more work.
I've never heard the words 'cool' and 'calculus' in the same sentence before.

Where do you go to school at? Nerd U?
Calculus. Oh, calculus. I'll be having three more semesters of calculus, oh joy! And I'll be taking two semesters of physics somewhere in there too...
Ah, the joy of being an engineer. :P

Right now the plan is computer engineering, but I may just settle for electrical. Since computer engineering is just a sub-category of electrical.
