For the sake of getting some activity going, I'm making this thread.
What are you looking forward to most in Super Mario galaxy?
Personally, I can't wait to feel the effects that gravity will have on the gameplay. What about you?
The gravity, like you said and the fact that it's going to be like Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Like how you have to do specfic missions to to get stars.
I'm just curious on how it will turn out.
I haven't read up much on how the game is, and I'm not sure how the controls and everything will work out. That's what I'm looking forward to.
I'm looking forward to it. I haven't done much research involving this game, but I'm still planning on getting it the day it comes out. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, as long as the controls work out.

The fact that the Aliens will dissect Princess Peach.
The controls have got me excited but I'm mostly thinking about how good of a game it will be as a whole. The gravity kind of interests me but it doesn't sound like anything realy cool.
The classic Mario feel. Jumping on goombas and when it looks like it will never end. The gameplay looks really crazy. And fun. I just hope that they made it hard, really hard. A real challenge. Also I like those flowers you can kick and fling back at you.

I'm looking forward to it just because it's something new, and unlike sunshine it actually has variety in stage and level design.
I honestly don't see why people don't like the whole fact that the land isn't flat, because old school platformers involve jumping around a lot.
most platformers nowadays aren't true platformers IMO.
Nothing in particular, really. I don't even think it'll be all that good. (Although I am comparing it to Mario 64.)

Er, critics have been saying it's leagues better then SM64...and from the looks of it, they may be right.
