srsly, ive opened some of my spare consoles and the exteriors could be a bit smaller. take the XBOX for example, it was like what? 1' by 1' by 3-4"? when i opened it, saw that it coulda been minimized to at least 9" by 6" by 4" they made everything too wide. if they wanted to, they coulda took a half of the circuit board, and put it on the console's celing, shrinking it in width and perhaps length. but anywho, ive seen a few pics of an opened Wii and it looks like it couldve been slighty minimized. Your thoughts?

well, since its so small, the heat it produces is too much to be prevented from entering any part of the wii. theres pretty much nothing nintendo can do about that. unless somebody were to mod the wii by placing a thick piece of plastic that would encase the memory card slot's interior, that way heat couldnt enter

as in they could put a lid over where gcn controllers and mem cards go in, instead of having it sitting on top of them.

well i think that the wii is small by it self.
but it might save nintendo a little bit of money every time someone buys a wii :|

well, i dont know wtf is wrong--- well, i do know that the GCN memory card slot messes up the GCN memory card by overheating if you leave it in while the wii is on. also, if they could make a different way of concealing the GCN controller ports.... just a suggestion, but the flap doors are a pain if ur pulling in different directions. like, either --remember the N64? if the GCN controller slots had the same shuttters that the N64 had but smaller, that'd pwn.
I've had my GCN memory card in my Wii since I got it, and no problems.
And what shutters were on the N64? It was just a regular port.

the game slot port :P and theres been reports of GCN memory cards getting corrupted from the heat that goes thru the wii. i think only Nintendo-Branded memory cards dont overheat, but i think that the 3rd party memmory cards are
