Then you're a vagina-y.
I'd say being disowned by your father is worse.

If by being disowned, you mean the poop hole walking about on his 2 children and only bothering to make contact once in the 16 years that followed. Then yes, that is far worse.

Sure, or him actually saying he wants nothing to do with you ever again. I suppose both can work.
relationship-wise, i guess liking someone and having them not like you back. :P
I've been on both ends, and (UNINTENTIONALLY!) made someone attempt suicide because I didn't like her. EVER.
I don't think I've ever been rejected before, because I don't take risks that lead to getting into relationships which eventually lead to rejection anyways. Sure, I guess I don't have much of a positive outlook on that aspect of my future, but I'm sure there are some worse rejections I could come across. Being rejected by a college, for example, is more important than being relationship rejected.

Are your parents divorced? They must be. 16 years without seeing your dad....

ATTEMPT suicide? As in she couldn't do it? Man, you know you fail at life when you failed at failing.

don't know the details, but I guess she crossed the stream instead of going down the river, if you know what I mean.

My parents weren't married. When I was two(and my sister was a few months old), my "father" walked out on us. My mother met my stepfather about 6 months later and when I was in first grade they got married(They are divorced now, but I live with my stepfather). By any means, I consider him my real father. He was the one who raised me. He was there to help me with stuff. He supported kids that he didn't even have to support. He's a real father. Not the dick who doesn't bother trying to take care of his kids, or make contact with them.

yeah, well, her suicide attempt, and my "friend"'s version of the story killed any social life I had prior to that.

I think it's a pretty good rejection, actually. The person has friendship feelings but not love.
