Bungie was originally going to keep the Recon Armor permutation to themselves, but recently gave it out to two individuals.
Why? One got killed by a speeding traffic cone, the other shot himself in the head with his own Sniper Rifle. Essentially, they made Bungie lulz.

So, now? The Forums are obviously a mess of "OMFG I WANT RECON", etc.

Bungie, THIS is why dangling a steak in front of a pack of hungry wolves is a bad idea.
