why not scrap it altogether? personally, ranks based on post count alone is pretty pointless to me, unless it was like a lot more spread out (new ranks for 100, 1000, 5000, 10000, etc). achieved ranks are a lot more meaningful, but that kind of thing would be better implemented in a badge system.

I don't agree. I like this rank system. It's a lot of fun going through the ranks and seeing the colors change.

Change to NSider4000. Everyone's name is blue.

In this skin, everyone looks the same, and all the fuss about colors and ranks appears silly.
