Title: Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
Post by: ME86 on October 30, 2007, 05:50:27 PM
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them.
The good is oft interrèd with their bones.
So let it be with Caesar. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar was ambition.
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answered it.
Here, under leave of Brutus and the rest
For Brutus in an honourable man,
So are they all, all honourable men,
Come I to speak in Caesar's funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me;
But Brutus says he was ambitious,
And Brutus is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome,
Whose reasons did the general coffers fill;
Did this in Caesar seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept;
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Luperacal
I thrice presentèd him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse. Was this ambition?
Yet Brutus say he was ambitious;
And sure he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause;
What cause withholds you then to mourn for him?
O judgement, thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And mend have lost their reason! Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

God, if I can remember all of that, I'll get like 75 extra credit points. yay;

Do you guys do extra credit?

I'll do any extra credit I can if I don't already have a high grade.

Usually depends how hard it is.

Having teachers sexually molest you for extra credit is wrong. :}

There's a 200 point project due in my New Testament class (which is among the worst and most irritating classes I've ever taken), which I can get 20-30 points of extra credit on for researching anything I want regarding the New Testament... so I'm going to research like, why it sucks, or something.  :robotveryhappy:

It's the BeAtles, and with all I know about them, I could give a two hour presentation. Their first song was "Love Me Do" which was written by Paul in 1958 and released in 1962. ;D

I have in the past, but I never had to remember that much o_O

I remembered a bunch of verses from Romeo and Juliet but now I forget them because it was 14 years ago xD
