Which would you say is worse?
I mean look at what happens with the Red Sox win the world series. Cars get flipped over and property gets vandalized. A family member of my room mates friends even got murdered after the win.
Now you have people like Jack out to put a stop to violent video games. Yet how many times have you heard of a riot taking place because a bunch of people had a party and played GTA? NEVER!
Violence related to sporting events happens a LOT more but you don't see them trying to shot down Fenway!
GO AFTER SPORTS FANS AND LEAVE US ALONE!!!

ya :_ i mean, look @ GTA ppl go all out w/ rage when they has thar best weapons XD
look what happens when a big game/system comes out, I remember reading about some people getting killed when the ps3 came out
I personaly have experaince with both sides of this.
I remember back when the Ravens won the Super Bowl how much violence from celebration there was. I know a friend of mine got both of there cars filped over and had to pay a good amount to fix them. There was also a fire that nearly was fatal.
Then on the other hand there was when the PS3 launched. One store in particaular nearly had a real riot on there hands. Mainly due to the fact that some memebers of the croud were actually armed. It got so bad the store owner ship out the few PS3 he had to another store.
So I guess both can get pretty bad.

I'm not talking about in the game. I'm talking about gamers that play the game and then go out on the streets and be violent in real life. That hardly EVER happens. Where as with sports. Fans go and watch and then riot afterwards like what happens when the Red Sox win the world series.

That was the FIRST time EVER though. I mean when the Patriots win and the Red Sox win here in Boston we have a riot EVERY single time.
One incident doesn't justify the persecution gamers get.
The take-home fact from either sports-related violence or video-game related violence (or most cases of violence, really) is PsychoYoshi's Rule #1...
People are ignorant, self-centered, and dumb until proven otherwise.
Note: The creator of this rule is not exempt from its provisions, it is truly universal.
Notice that I never said people are evil, but we're no better than any other animal when it comes to placing altruism above self-preservation. People often talk about a human factor...such a thing is either nonexistent or minuscule.
