364 days a year, strangers are completely untrustworthy and will surely put your child in danger. However on Halloween all bets are off, and it's assumed that any stranger your child goes to the house of will pleasantly dispense delicious treats.
Our culture is f***ed up.
My brother said something like that earlier, it was funnier sounding the way he said it but both hit right home on the triple question mark meter. :D

No.
It's 364 days in most years, 365 every fourth year. We don't go by exacts like that, otherwise, you would be trick or treating about 16 hours later than you do now in Halloween of 2007.
lol "free candy" works only once a year
I wish some of the ladies with the fine booties came to my house for candy :|

My schools/county chooses to make Halloween the MOST strict day for dress codes out of every year. If you even have any Halloween on you, ISS. I'm not kidding, I've seen somebody get suspended for wearing a T-shirt with a Halloween-related design on it.

funny, we're allowed to wear any costume we want. the day after a bomb threat.
60 kilometres away, they're not allowed to wear ANY costume ANY TIME, because they could conceal weapons.

My school doesn't allow costumes ever, it's just that they're more strict on Halloween out of all days.
Same for masks. If you even have a mask in your bag and the teachers know, you
can will get suspended. They treat masks as if they were a weapon :-\
Wait, you just now realized America is intercourse ed up?
ROFL isn't it the truth though.
Parents: "Don't take candy from strangers"
Now Parents on Halloween: "Go ahead sweetie have fun trick or treating"

Now, you see, I would REALLY out smart them. My costume would be a kid who doesn't wear a costume and follows the dress code! What would they do then?
