Title: WHY DID CAPCOM RUIN MEGAMAN????
Post by: DSWiiMaster42 on November 02, 2007, 07:18:14 AM
The old Megaman games are undoubtedly the best Megaman games, but ever since Megaman Legends (a.k.a. Megaman 64), the games started going downhill. Then there was the awful Battle Network series, and now Starforce. In Starforce, Capcom ruined Megaman and made him look terrible! WHY? :'(

I don't think they should have ruined Megaman like that. I think they should have stuck to making games similar to the old Megaman games and not change his look like they did now.

I haven't been interested in Megaman since 5.  They've been trying to do new stuff with the franchise, which I'm all for, but it's just not for me anymore.

The Zero and ZX series are fantastic, though.

I suggest you try out Megaman ZX or Megaman ZX Advent. They are awesome. ;)

Classic Megaman, Megaman X, Zero, ZX, Legends, those games are all great (except X6)

Capcom really screwed up with Battle Network and Starforce though, those games are NOT Megaman games.

Battle Networks 1 was good. The rest were stupid rehashes -_-

I ask myself that everyday. I really want to try Mega Man Zero, but BN was terrible, and I'm afraid to consider Starforce.

I don't know why so many people think Battle Network is terrible.
Thats the series which got me into playing megaman games and all his other series.
Battle Network really doesn't feel like a megaman game, but its still a great spinoff.

The megaman X series started to suck ass after X5..

Megaman Zero series for GBA was purty nice..(not story wise)

Megaman ZX..gayest s*** ever
..f*** this game, i Just hate it with a passion

The First megaman BN was okay.. But making so many sequels was truely uncessary..

Just when I got use to BN, they change it to "Starforce"... Really, who makes these decesions?

I guess it's trying to capture some kids attention. Battle network was kinda like Pokemon because it was trying to compete with Pokemon. I agree with you, Classic Megaman is the best.

Who knows but, battle network was made when Poke'mon was something a lot of kids liked. I guees they wanted to get more fans. The classic Mega Man would always be the best one. The X series was good until we had to hear the voice actors in the 4th one where they sounded like they never read lines before(Though the game play wasn't bad) and X7 was definaltey god awful. The Zero series was actually pretty good but, the series end was kinda sudden and a little dumb. The ZX series more of a step backward than anything else. Starforce was kinda hard for me to call a Mega Man title...
